@MamaOrsonka ale zdajesz sobie sprawę, że to piosenka o zrzuceniu bomby atomowej na Hiroszimę co spowodowało śmierć 80 000 ludzi w kilka sekund, prawda?

Does it really matter now who had the most casualties? Seriously Humans in general are fucked until they get their act together and realize we are all on the same planet. Otherwise we will never become a type 1 society and instead there will be another enola gay but this time no plane will be involved. Just a bunch of human monkeys pushing buttons and blowing up portions of the planet. Learn from the past but dont fight about it.
@crashroader No point in warring, ...but as you so correctly say, LEARN YOU FOOLS OR WE MUST ALL BE FOOLS, GLOBAL MONKEY-FUX FOR POLITICAL AGENDAS? I think WE'Z NOT.
Evolve.
"THE ART OF FIGHTING - WITHOUT, FIGHTING" ..as Bruce says. (Lee, ...da man of world recognition).
@DROOMcG We have still yet to evolve my friend. For a type 1 society is still beyone a type 0. We arent even a 0 yet. You will know when we are becuase every race, every man will realize we are all on the same planet. They will come together as one civilization. That will make us officially a type 0. From then on, it will be easier because EVERYONE will be working with each other to solve all the problems. We will begin to gain control of the planets weather and space travel will be easier.
Thanks for posting, just to add to the debate, more casualties were caused in the fire storms at Tokyo and Dresden than either Hiroshima or Nagasaki both of which were viable cities some 30 years after the bombings. I have met some Americans who were amazed that there was fighting in Eastern Europe and others who were well aware that the Western Front was just a minor altercation by comparison to the Eastern Front. Diplomacy and trade are where its at, as they say!
62 more days and i'm seeing them at the Nokia theater with both of my lil bro's it's gonna be AMAZING!!!! I may have not been born in the 80's but New Wave is the Best screw modern Hipster music :D
66 years ago today, the Americans dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, instantly killing 70,000 people. The bomb was called 'Little Boy', and was dropped by a B-29 Superfortress called 'Enola Gay'. OMD absolutely nail the world's feelings with this song! "Enola Gay, you should of stayed at home yesterday"
RIP to those poor people who perished, and my thoughts and prayers go out to all who were affected.
@SaulMeyersz I know a lot more than you think my friend!
Firstly, the irony of your post is rather amusing! You talk about the Geneva Convention, and then attempt to justify dropping a nuclear weapon on Japanese civilians because the Imperial Army committed war crimes!! Just think about that for a second!!
@SaulMeyersz Clearly you haven't got the first idea of what you're talking about. Unless you can respond with something relevant and constructive, then I'd suggest that this discussion is over before it's even begun!
@SaulMeyersz just realize the russians caused the most casualties for the germans and they actually were the biggest reason we aren't speaking russian, seeing as they got to berlin first and all.
@SaulMeyersz Do you know the German V1 & V2 rockets (not bombs) killed more Germans then none Germans because of testing and manufacturing errors. And the Nazis wouldn't have conquered the UK even if the US didn't intervene. They had the chance to conquer the UK but instead they started fighting in Russia and Africa which allowed the UK to regain its strength. They built a huge airfleet which gave them control over the sky so that the Germans were not able to launch any attacks.
@SaulMeyersz what the fuck are you talking about guessing your american due to the spelling failures and you'd be speaking french without the british and who wants that. plus whats hitler got to do with hiroshima and we all know he bombed england thats got nothing to do with the song or hiroshima and yes the japaneese killed millions but so did the americans with fire bombings and the two atomic blasts.
Shut the Fuck up u bunch of wanks......... Great band great song from the most magnificent city in the world............Liverpool...... what a tune!!
@BobMouche .Well spotted,it was indeed a joke, although someone took it seriously.I wonder if OMD were trying to fool us with another of their hits "Joan of Ark".....everyone knows Noah's wife wasn't called Joan, she was called Hortense !!
@myepiphone Learn history, it is ENOLA GAY (the name of the aircraft that dropped the Atomic bomb on Hiroshima), not "we know you're Gay. Kerisst, wtf? do they teach you nowadays?
I can't find out what I feel when I'm hearing this, sadness or happiness . . On the one hand, I can see a disco era full of light-on the other hand a bomb named "Little Boy"
Enola gay was an American bomber that dropped the 1st atomic bomb on Hiroshima in world war 2 , Nagasaki was the 2nd to get it, proberbely the sadest days of mankind but then again Hitler decided to kill millions of Jewish people cos he was the devil himself, i think America after the horrors of Peal Harbour must have thought .................Fuck this shit.........pay backs a mother fucker aint it...
@danNYx86 Enola gay is a b29 super fortress bomber that had dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima in japan. The pilot named the plane after his mother enola gay
It's interesting to see music from when I was a :"kid" how much the artists actually enjoyed themselves. You can see it with the expression on thier faces alone.

Great video,I love this band,I love Andys dancing-man can he move and as for Paul he is always so well presented with his white shirt and black tie which I love to see on a man-they sound fantastic live again 10/10 lads.
back in a time when the radiation from hiroshima and nagasaki was the biggest radiological problem. In comparison, the situation of Fukushima is truly a nightmare.
man i can feel that bass line deep in my soul, what a great song, the lyrics are so sad, i wish i could have lived this era in music, i was 1 year old when this came out!
Just appreciate the music for what it is, its content and how it sounds. People can ramble on forever about whatever it is that drives them, leave them to it and good luck. I just like music me : )

back in a time when the radiation from hiroshima and nagasaki was the biggest radiological problem. In comparison, the situation of Fukushima is truly a nightmare.

Just appreciate the music for what it is, its content and how it sounds. People can ramble on forever about whatever it is that drives them, leave them to it and good luck. I just like music me : )
