I'll add that Jimmy Carter is only looking out for his own interest and of course his legacy. He's ignored the fallen under the cuban regime and is willing to gamble and pet the same Cobra that already bit him.
Carter is a good man, good heart and a HUMANITARIAN! I believe that we should lift the embargo...hasn't worked in 50 years ...and if we continue with the embargo another 50 years, it still won't work!

Just an FYI - the embargo was imposed on Cuba as retaliation after Cuba nationalized American Interests on the island without giving proper monetary compensation...and here we are 50 years later!

Cuba buys products, and good ones, from France, Italy, England--and many USA products from Canada,etc.

But last week I saw a programme here in the UK (638 ways to kill Castro) which showed that there were a number of assassination attempts on Castro by the CIA while Carter was still President. So he needs to get his story straight!
