You people preach about green power yet E.ON ARE LEADING THE WAY with cleaner energy! You idiots have NO idea the lengths a company such as E.on are going to to make sure we have diverse and sustainable energy in the UK.

Furthermore you turn your kettle on each morning and drink hot tea by using what? ELECTRICITY or if you like to be petty you can use GAS, ether way your a hypocritical bunch of hobo's.

@linkaylomen1 I think you'll find that we don't need to burn fossil fuels at all any more, the only reason we still are is because we need to perpetuate the profit structure. What do you expect anyway? We are all forced to take part in this crappy non-renewable system anyway.

Not only does nuclear power contribute to industrial greenhouse gas emissions, it creates the most catastrophically toxic byproducts of any industrial activity. Our best solution to deal with the problem is to vitrify and bury nuclear waste in a few feet of concrete. It's so heavily subsidised it can never be economical.
