  • You are a clever person and should feel clever!

  • This is not "NEW" I've made this several times before :)

  • @razorGamingEdits Yeah but in minecraft nothing is actually 100% new, but I never saw something like this done before so I assumed it to be pretty new :) And I wanted to catch some attention :P

  • @CyberneticSoldier i created a if gate, lets see if thats new, comments please to me ;-)

  • @CyberneticSoldier I forgot to add btw that the "new" part actually mainly is because it's new compared to my other item gate designs. This way people can see this is the latest one.

  • what does the first thing help you? i dont get it... XD

  • @JayTie1 With the first thing you can do stop a flow of items and then collect them all when you start the flow again. For example if you have a mob sorter, but you don't want pork chops all the time, then you can build one of these to catch the pork chops and then when you do need pork chops again you flick a switch and pick up all the chops that collected on the door, but also any new ones coming through. I hope that explains it a bit xD

  • @CyberneticSoldier ok ;-) then nice made, but i still dont need it, because i just pass by the output when i need some. i think it makes no difference, because if u pass by there after like 15 minutes, 2/3rd already have despawned, and wether they despawn in the water or on the pressure plate where they come out, makes no difference to me ;-) but still, if you need it and it works, nice made!

  • @JayTie1 that's also an option of course, each his own. But the idea is not to collect it there and then trigger it to pick it up. The idea is that you can control if you want certain drops to be at the pick up point or not. So for example if you have mob sorter you can sort out pigs and then also block the pork chops from going to the collection point. That way you won't pick up an inventory of pork when you only wanted the gunpowder (for example).

  • This is a very awesome design! I will definitely make use of this. =)

  • dam dude that is pretty awesome. Hello down there Etho!

  • That's great dude. Is the junction direction dependent, or will it work if you build it facing any direction?

  • @EthosLab well, by my knowledge of the effects of the south-west rule and by how this sorter works, it is direction independant.

  • @EthosLab It's direction independent, afaik items have no south-west ruling when it comes to moving them with water, or at least I didn't experience any issues with it.
