  • love the tank..i'm sure the wood has sunk by now :) but it actually looks amazing just floating too. i'm in the process of changing my Oscar tank to a natural amazon habitat and its a bitch figuring out where to place the driftwood. any suggestions???

  • Hi,what kind of gravel did you use???Is it black or some other dark colour?Your tank is amazing my friend.WELL DONE...

  • @black7monster 3M ColorQuartz [Black T-Grade], it is not actually aquarium sand, it is product used in flooring or pools, not exactly easy to find, and last I heard has been discontinued. However I heard there are other manufacturers making something similar.

  • Amazing m8!

Nicely done, big fan of this!

  • id like more lighting but very well done :)

  • nice tank i need to get more wood for mine check out my video

  • What kinda lighting is that?

  • That is an amazing tank

  • have you thought about getting some discus in there very nice tank ^^

  • Amazing, this is exactly what I want to do with my tank. What kind of substrate is that? And how did you find so many pieces of driftwood? :D

  • Hey, nice tank!! Cool music! Any idea what song is this?

  • Hey, please post an updated vid, I wanna know how your tank turned out! :)

  • holy crap! amazing. i like the wood pieces. where did you get them?

  • Do the fish get enough light?

  • @hockeycrazy165 Where they are from natural is often darker ie more tannin.

  • nice tank great work

only bad point for me is the fish man made angels not my thing

i think some wild looking angels would be more suitable like manacapuru redback angels

  • If you're going to keep fish, this is how it should be done. No overcrowding, no gaudiness, no doubt the fish are NOT stressed. Sweet tank.....

  • wow cool aquarium!

  • you should play this kind of music at all times! it just feels right with your tank. great work!

  • Great work! Very nice!

    Matt

  • What kind and power of light do you use

  • where did you get the roots? what kind of wood

  • i like this theme way better than the one before

  • It's got a contemporary feel to it... :)

  • Do you always keep it low lighted? What kind of lights do you use? Its soooo pretty!

  • how long did it finally take for the manzinita to submerge?

  • you need a pacu or two!

  • very very relaxing

  • Great work man. You made banan on my face ;) Where i can find more informations about Your black water amazon tank?

  • lovely! So peacefull! And the fish look really happy and calm.

  • wow, great looking wood!

  • WOW amazing setup..seriously..where did you get the roots for the theme? by they way you should consider looking for some cichlids to throw in there it would make it look intense..maybe some oscar cichlids or convicts..

  • They are all like "OMG A LEAF HAVE TO SEEEE!" xD

  • I really want to do something like this my my yound red bellies until i move them to a 125, but have no idea where to start. any pointer or tips i havent been able to find it online but i may be using the wrong keywords lol

  • i liked it before no offense

  • Nice lighting, spooky.

  • never mind howlong, how much did it cost you?nice man.

  • dude looks so cool is it hard to clean tho? and i love it so much nice job maybe get some brighter fish tho like neons or chiclids it woud broghten it up a lot more

  • u should get a school of neon tetras it would look bad ass

  • so what happened to all your other fish in the first viedo?

  • @vijomyda I relocate most of my older fishes from my other videos back to my LFS or to friends that wants them.

  • This masterpiece is definitely one of a kind. Ha take a look at my amateur masterpiece let me know what you think. It has zero comments so far, so you should be the first.

  • were did you get the wood from

  • @urwack123 I got some from a fish forum member, aquaria central, who collects and sells these Manzanita wood.

  • like it so much!!

  • @rensamatar Thx

  • did you buy tha drift wood or did you get i from a river or somethin?. Also if i find some wood from the bush or a creek. can i put that in my tank if i boil it and dry it repeatedly??

  • @fishlover80 I got some from a fish forum member, aquaria central, who collects and sells these Manzanita wood. I wouldn't know about wood from a bush or a creek, I'm not too familar, I would google it. I just saw a member selling these wood, and I thought it looked interested so I did some research on that type of wood (manzanita) to make sure it's safe for aquarium use.

  • set up is sweet but the fish are lame and boring

  • Wowow! this is truly amazing love the setup well done!

  • thats so cool

  • that looks like you have took a piece of the amazon home

  • @pppaullll =D

  • Exactly what i had in mind. Beautiful.

  • @redrum6789 ^_^

  • Just to tell you, rasboras are from Asia and not SA

  • 5/5 nice tank dude looks like alot how long that take 2 setup all up?

  • @Skylar2134 The overall scape less than a day, but water-logging that type of wood took quite some time.

  • that looks amazing, i love it

  • im sure there's benefits of having a low lighting tank, algae is earlier to control and the fish more relaxed showing bright colours,, is this the case for you?

  • amazing!!! how dude how u do that??!! its amazing!!! nice tank and theme!! i might get a 55 gall my self tomorrow please stop by and see my video if i upload it

  • Truely outstanding. Fantasic pieces of wood wonderfully positioned.. Whats the music????

  • This is the best "Biótipo" that i ever see. I am Brazilian and your aquarium is a real copy of amazon deep water ! Only one question. How do you clean the substract ? The botton ?

  • Without doubt this the best set up I have ever seen. Good work.

  • Thx! =D

  • Very veryy niiiice. Although for a totally natural feeling Id gtet wild type angels

  • I would love to too, however that would require a bigger setup. =(

  • Let's see an update! :-D

  • incredibly amazing

  • Sweet dud how do you set this up and where u get all the wood also can that theme be for any type o tropical fish or to stressful

  • I'm in awe! Brilliant!:D

Guess you've decided on the schooling fish by now, but in case you haven't: I'd go with a nice big school of Cardinal tetras, Glowlight tetras or something like that.

If you don't want you tetras to become lunch for your angelfish now and then, Rummynose tetras might be a better option.

(Rasboras are neat but would ruin the Amazon theme completely...!)

  • nice very unique never seen any thing like it 5/5 and subbed

  • wow...before this video i thought tropical tanks were boring and crap...marine looked better...but i must say...this makes tropical look real good man....very classy...simple....less is definitly more in the aquarium hobby...well done

  • wow this is amazing im soo jelin on you hahah lol. it's really pretty how you used wood instead of plant as your main focus line

  • Wow... Its beautiful. Maybe a few Neon Tetras though? Just a thought.

    5/5 Subbed

  • this is such a nice tank!!!! wow 5/5 for u

  • how much did all that wood cost together

  • thats so nice i wish stores would sell wood like that

  • Mate, this tank is beautiful...

Wow and I was blown away with the last video how you had all that black substrate with river rocks and that looked so great but this is amazing man.

You certainly know what your doing because your doing it right 100%

    5/5 bro

  • Thx! ^_^

  • 5/5 man. Wow this tank is really nice, where did u get the roots from ?

  • Thx man! I got them off a seller in a fish forum.

  • One of the most beautiful tanks ive ever seen. A+ my friend. A fire eel would go great in there.

  • Id have to agree with you. That is a very nice tank.

  • So great, i'd put a couple of oscars in there :) Its very nice mate, Great work A+ A+ A+ A+ A+ I love it

  • If my tank was bigger I would love to. Maybe my next tank in the future. =D

  • you should put real fish in your tank that are smart, have personality, and aren't timid like: Oscar cichlids or some other kind of South American cichlids because South American cichlids are the best .

  • is the roots bought or did u make it urself?

  • I purchased it off a seller on a fish forum.

  • wow looks good

    very good

  • Thx mate! =D

  • did you clean the wood before you put it in and if so how?

  • The seller cleaned the driftwood to his best, and as for me I had to soak it in water for weeks to remove as much tannins as possible and waterlogged it.

  • lol i kinda like how that masasive whatecer it is floating around and how kinda your aNGEL FISH FOLLOW IT

  • this is wonderful, I also like this song, amazing x

  • where did you get the lighting from?

  • So natural and real, good job.

  • Won't the rasboras you're thinking of completely dissapear into the dim lighting with their colours?

  • You sure this isn't the REAL Amazon?

  • Hehe ... ^_^

  • davexdd, are u just puttiing south american fish in there? I have some awesome suggestions for u if u are interested!!!!

    AWESOME TANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats a bit creepy to look in the dark but that is the most priceless tank setup in the world bravo!

  • Aye, that's what my family keep telling me, creepy, but I love this setup and find it beautiful. It's still a work in progress =O

  • Thanks for the comments! ^_^

  • That is THE most beautiful tank i've ever seen!

And I agree, I think a school of Harlequin raspboras would be perfect for that tank :) How many angels do you have in there now that you took out the albinos?

  • I have a school big school of Harlequin Rasboras now, but their in another tank at the moment, waiting till they get bigger (I got them as juvies), but their almost right sized, just a little more, then they should be ready to be with the angels.

At the moment there are only 6 gold angelfishes. and they are bigger than what they look like in the video now. They are even trying to breed, but I'm not experience enough to raise them so I let the eggs be.

  • nice amazon fish and tank!! 5 stars!!

  • Looks good.

  • Great tank set up! I normally hate angelfish but it works here. Great job!

  • The light is very good for this type of habitat. Great job.

  • why is it so dark make a video of it light

  • Nice, What is the ph with all that driftwood?

  • nice tank dude if uer any lucky u might get some angelfish that well breed lol

  • very cool tank you should add a big school of neons to the tank

  • Tempted to add a big school of Harlequin Rasboras or Glo-lite Rasboras. ^_^

  • where did you get those huge pieces of driftwood

  • They are called Manzanita driftwood, you can find people selling them on fish forums in the classified section. Just google "Manzanita driftwood" and you will find different forums with people selling them. That's how I got mines.

  • cool tank, but the lighting isn't very good

  • Thanks, the terminalia catappa leaves are floating at the moment and blocking the light source, they should eventually sink and the tank should be more lit up.
