Billy Price is a true soul man. This is a great version of the tune, as is the one Billy recorded maybe 30 years ago. All props to Billy. He deserves to stand with O.V. and Otis Clay.
Of course. What a bar it was before it became a strip joint. Saw many upcoming stars there. Wish I could find the video when he played with roy buchannon, the only man alive that could make a guitar cry
@sirspout You must have been at PSU the same time I was. I tended bar at the Scorp. and saw KRB many times, and of course Tahoka Freeway at the Brewery on Wendesday's. Last time I saw Muggs Gallagher he was working at a music store in SC, but that was some time ago.
I've seen this cat about 110 times...and all I can think when it's over is...when can I see him again...not just fantastic...a true artist...but FANTASTIC...a national treasure...see him live ASAP!!!!
This stuff is HOT.........these people are a Blessing.............Billy Price....what a talent !
Just how hot is the Blues-R&B scene in Pittsburg ?????????

The original O.V. Wright version is my favorite song of all time. Kudos to Billy Price for doing this song! I remember him from days at Duquesne U!

This is from a live CD, from a concert in Europe (Amsterdam, I think). Check Billy Price's website for more info.

Thanks for posting this. I understand Billy works at CMU nowadays. This takes me back to The Decade and Mancini's.
