Oggi lo stato della birmania ha riportato il popolo indietro di 100 anni disattivando le linee internet per non far vedere al mondo l'ennesimo sterminio che aimè avverrà. These soldiers that are deployed to Yangon are from villages of Myanmar so they do not feel much affection for the people in Yangon. In 1988, when a similar crackdown happened, the soldiers later revealed that they were told by their generals that the protesters were rebels and to open fire on them. The soldiers that initially handled the protesters were from the capital as well and they couldn't bear to open fire. As a result, they were quickly replaced by the soldiers from the villages.
I will NOT go to Burma until the people there are FREE --- I will just go to THAILAND where the people are treated with RESPECT, and the Monks are revered by all including the Military there !
The caller/ eyewitness was describing how the military was beating the monks and kicking them with military boots. And the military threw the monks on the army trucks and shooting of the tear gas rounds into bystanders and crowds. It happened near the area where the many religious item are sold. And he was describing about how the soliders were on the pagoda's ground with boots.(which is also considered very rude)
Anyone who disrespects or compromises the dignity of the Buddhist Monks are destined for a terrible karma! Not only are the People of the world watching but GOD is watching and those EVIL military junta will see the wrath of GOD. God loves the Buddhist Monks !
God isn't around anymore. He found another planet to try and control! LOL Try not to tell anyone though they wouldn't believe you and if they did it would be anarchy.
I cannot believe that the military, who are supposed to protect the population, can fire upon and shoot innocent monks that are pacifist by nature and no way will carry weapons. It is time they handed the running of the country back to the people and stop exploiting for personal gain.

Sanctions will not affect the military. Why?
If a country's money supply is cut, who do you
think will get the last dollar. The people with nothing or the ones with the guns?
The military is enjoying such power & wealth,
there is no reason for them to step down.
They have to be overthrown by force.
Its as simple as that.

Even though I think we should, we would be condemned for invading another country again.
Damn if we do and damn if we don't.
And camlux, Burma DOES have PLENTY of oil.

Richard1972r -- America or Europe shouldn't INVADE. Just use AIR POWER. The West is ultra-powerful with smart bombs and cruise missles and fighter jets.

This will kill innocent people, not the military who will hide in bunkers...

Boycott the summer Olympics in China as this country supports the Burmese regime and provides it with weapons.

Boycott Burma. Do not go there. Your holidays money will help supporting the military criminals and drug dealers who rule the country.
