How about some more videos maybe showing us how you like being a O/O and what you have learned and maybe some videos showing the loads you have had? Be Safe
Hey big man where's the vids? Sure would like a update as to how you like being a O/O with those guys and what you've learned so far, you know kind of a helper video for those thinking of making the leap. Also, I'd just like to see some more vid's of your travels and the big loads you been gettin'. Alright I've begged enough for you day, Be Safe and Good Luck.
Hey, man... I live in Alberta. You're damn right it's beautiful. Careful going through Rogers Pass...you don't want to be in there at night when its raining... They tend not to maintain the shoulders or paint lines. Daytimes a blast though. It'll be nice when their done construction on the Coquihala too. Stay safe dude. Shiny side up.
i've been up there too big guy and it is breath taking. I adventured a drop deck load from pittsburgh to kitimat,b.c. in the middle of february back in 97. the roads wer scary packed with snow but it was a beautiful sight.
Auburn sucks so bad, they are just crap, we own them, their bird is GAY big time, their girls have "A" cups, orange and blue is wack, and Cheeze -Its are no match for Goldfish!!!
awesome video sill in utah at school, your auburn kitten is going to have so good player this season hope they make it, GO CANES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If your anywhere near Smithers British Columbia send me a youtube message and I'll buy you a coffee!
When your going through BC from Grand Cache your best bet is to take Highway 16 west to Prince George, south from prince george on highway 97 to hope and Follow the hiway at Hope BC West into Vancouver... There's Border crossings at Abbotsford (Sumas) And White Rock (peace arch) and your best bet us the truck crossing at Peace arch.
@Riffraffracingvideos Also Try not to drive down Hiway 3 through cranbrook, osoyoos and princeton.... That is nasty in a truck. Big hills and sharp corners
Im looking forward to seeing your videos of Canada. You need to travel north of the treeline...that'd be cool... Yellow Knife...etc...They just had the summer solstice up there...
You've only seen a small part BC. it's all like that. When going to Seattle, take the number 1 hwy. from Kamloops to Hope through the Fraser River Canyon try to make through the section between Lyton and Hope during the daylight hours , you won't regret it.
hi guy you are in some of the most beautiful part of the country.i have done some hello.skiing up in bc.and abl.and it is something to see.you are right about winter, its not a place to be caught in.you and jack be safe and well.
Hey Jimmy, If you owe back alimony to a sheep that you once dated, can you go to Canada? Just wondering? Not that I know anyone that has that problem or anything!
Very good update Jimmy. You're sure racking up the miles. I'll be in Seattle the middle of next month, and then taking a slow boat to Alaska. It would be cool to be there the same time since we live so close down in God's country. Hope this isn't too personal, but do you get mileage pay, or percentage? That seems like a looonngggg way to deadhead. As always stay safe out there. ~Mike~
Great Video Jimmy. One thing you sometimes forget to mention about the canadian crossing is you have to have a passport to cross even as a driver. When I first started thinking about (and still thinking about) going into trucking I didn't want to cross into Canada. I might reconsider that cause of the unlimited mileage you can get. Take Care Man. Stay Safe.
@HerschelTalker Hahaha, theyre bama fans HT, what do you expect? I'll be back man, I have been insane busy. Thanks man....UGA will be good this year, no doubt
so much for a FL run lol im thinkin about moving to Alabama soon as i can anyway, oh and good luck with gettin that AK load ur wanting, take care and be safe budd
Damn Jimmy I just finished a job in Grande Cache, I'm in Valleyview Alberta right now for the next week, you have an open invitation to a free lunch or supper. Think hard about taking the Coquahalla from Hope to Kamloops, the Fraser Canyon is 2 lane and lots of curves, the coquahalla is 4 lane. You are going to absolutley love Jasper Park
@CDNcatskinner Hey man thanks for that. The Coquahalla is a toll road right? What will that cost me? Also, I will be empty going down to Seattle but loaded and 10 ft wide coming back up. I will have to follow my permitted route coming back up but going down i can go any way I want. Give me your best route from Grande Cache to Hope pulling an empty step deck. ....Once I deliver in Grimshaw, I will be coming right through Valleyview
@BigRigAuburnTiger I do believe the tolls were taken off a few years ago, they were only put on to pay for the road, Ive heard some don't like it in the winter but in the summer its great...i think grande cache onto HWY 16 through Jasper then South to Kamloops onto the coquahalla and you are in Hope...Im sure you could get info from other drivers on whether or not the tolls are on, but im pretty sure they are off.....Hinton to Grande Cache is nice but a bit narrow, (its paved)
You will love the mountains going through British Columbia. When I was still OTR, I used to run from Rexdale Ontario to Calgary Alberta. Think it's like 2005 miles one way. That was my normal run. Used to love that trip.
@Newfieguy89 No kidding ayy....Its breath taking up here man. My states motto is Alabama The Beautiful. I have told my friends and family that Alabama has its beauty but if you wanna see beauty, you go west and north....thanks todd
Hey Jimmy, if you ever make it Ottawa, Ontario witch is next to the Quebec border..i would like to meet up with ya. I don't blame you for not wanting to be around during the winter....the TCH (Trans Canada highway) is hell in some spots. see ya around.
@twoplyboy Sounds great man, I would like that as well. Right now i am trying to stay away from the eastern provinces because I would have to get my truck turned down to 65mph to come up there, the western provinces dont have that law. But we have a lot of freight that comes up there and if it pays well then i wouldnt think twice about turning my truck down and then turning it back up when i come back to the US....we'll see....thanks
@BigRigAuburnTiger ah right on. I know what your talking about the speed thing. I know as of now..I could be wrong is that it only applies to trucks that are based out of Ontario that have to be governed to the105/kph. I could be wrong tho. It Would make scense if it only applies to the companies that are based out of here. If you did make it down just follow the 105 speed limit. I dont know...I would like an answer tho...i'm curious now....lol
I've always wanted to go to Canada, do you have to get new paperwork every time you go, or can you get a pass of some sort? Just some stupid questions, just seems crazy to have to wait as much as you have been traveling up there!
@tulsahog12 Each time you go to Canada you have to get your load cleared with the broker and customs, usually its an easy thing but this one is being a hassle
your in my neck of the woods here in south central british columbia welcome driver!!!!!
