been deathly afraid of heights and speed my whole life. went to elitches today for the first time and was dragged by my friends to go on this. i flipped out but im SO glad they did!!!! it was a blast and i went on it 5 more times. I didn't think it was scary after the first time. definitely something to go on!

This is like my favorite roller roaster. I just went to denver a few weeks ago and i had a blast. the only ride i know i never want to ride again is the mind eraser lol.

@Andy302king It's old, The first, "Mr. Twister" was like, build 100 years ago. This won is like, 30 to 50. This one's called "Mr. Twister . . . ll . . . :-O" . . . But it's 1/2 miles long, it really is.

The only roller coaster I've ever been on so far :) it's awesome!! The worst part I would say is the first drop. 90 feet!! still awesome though haha gonna seeif I should check out my first loop roller coaster today: The sidewinder o.o

I remember a few years ago, my friend and I went on twister II 21 times exactly in a row, and when we were at about 17, it got dark, and people stopped getting in line to get on, and so when the coaster returned us to the place where they load people in, and no one was in line for the front seat, so my friend and I got to be in the front seat for the last few rides until the park closed. It was sick, the guy manning the controls set we set a record.

Me and my 5 year old son went on it and it was our first time, he loved it and wanted to go on it again and I told him he was nuts. The part that sucked the most was sudden stop at the end because I am a tall guy and my legs were crammed to begin with, but it was an experience.

My brother's and I call this ride "The Backbreaker" because you get slammed around in those carts. Despite that, the Twister is still tremendous fun, and we always make sure to ride it multiple times every visit.

Oh, you got the name wrong. It's called Twister II, because it's supposed to be the "sequel" to the Mister Twister of the original Elitch Gardens. In fact, the last time I went on this ride was about three years ago. This was shortly after they did a rebuild of the swoop turn at the top of the lift hill, which was in 2004 but not painted until 2006 or 2007. Anyways, CoasterGallery (dot) com has a picture of this.

This is "Twister 2". The Original "Mister Twister" was demolished some time ago. In the line for this ride it has some signs that tell u all about it. I went on that ride like, 8 times when I went to Elitch's last summer
