  • So, I went to this school in Ludhiana (DAV) where we weren't allowed to talk in Punjabi. I felt proud that we talked in English, the way they indoctrinated us was working. Then after my seventh year in school, I moved to Canada and started exploring Punjabi and regret the moments that I felt proud about talking in English. I realize how much I missed from Punjabi. I don't think I can imagine myself without Punjabi. Still in grade 12, but I know my kids will know all about Punjabi! :D

  • this song should be listened by modern punjabi parents who consider punjabi as rude language.... bloddy idiots!

  • @TVLOVER619 hell yeah ! Punjabi vargi mitthi zubaan poori duniya ch ni koi !

  • i agree, I get pretty agitated when i come across those parents. I also think it' pretty fu**ed up how some people think being Punjabi is directly connected with Sikhism.

I am a Hindu Punjabi and in our ancestry, the first born male was brought up as a Sikh. Being a Punjabi is a way of life, way of thinking and something that cannot be taken away no matter how far away we live.

  • Manmohan Waris saab jiunde raho kaim song.............
