One of my favorite movies of all time. Very uplifting. And it reminds me of my visit to the beautiful little town of Assisi a couple of months ago where I went inside the St. Francis Basilica to actually see the tomb of the great, humble saint, surrounded by tombs of his friends portrayed in this field. Really beautiful

Actually, you can get Donovan singing the songs from the film on Itunes, and then record it to a CD if you like. It's an exclusive.

Donovan is singing the songs many years after the film, and he has added a couple that didn't end up in the film as well.

It's truly lovely.

I'd be pleased but very surprised if that were true.

Even Donovan himself could not obtain the copyright to these songs to release the original versions, he had to re-record them.

The only soundtrack I know which is available of this film features instrumental music only.

i think this is the one i mean

on this soundtrack you can only hear dolce sentire but not the english songs like birds are singing and day by day.

we even could`not by any soundtrackversion in austria.

The only one we bought years ago was this version without the english songs at St.Francis in Assisi.

on this you can hear the full music of Zefirellis film including dolce sentire performed by a womans voice.
