@Reckhem Hi Reckham, She is still going strong. Had her out about a month ago and did some laps. Its a unique plane to fly which is good for a change. I do like the OS motor, easy to tune, powerful for a little thing, plenty of compression.
Keeping it top notch, well the answer to that is plenty of re inforcement in the planes fuselage and wing attachment lugs ( they came loose ) not enough glue.
@RCPlaneFlyer16 Well look, Im not the best flyer in the world so landing can always be interesting. With the heavier motor and reinforced firewall I find the plane sinks like a stone at low speed. Thats why I tend to keep the revs up a bit and come in a bit hot.
@RCPlaneFlyer16 As for flaps, I think its a careful balance of how much lift you get compared to drag so keep it light until you know your plane. Ive had quite a few planes now, some dont want to come down, some roll in perfectly and some, like this one is tricky. Buts that my setup, your plane might be different.
Thanks, its a plane that you have to use a bit of throttle when landing and it gets a bit tricky at times, tends to stall at low speeds so its easy to come in too hot using throttle.
But yes, it is a fun plane to fly and does reasonable aerobatics for a crop duster !!!
so its been a year how is she still running? what tips can you give us to keep her top knotch? is this your fave plane in your hanger?

How fast do you have to come in? Do the flaps slow it down a lot? I just got it and i'm curious

Forgot to tell you I had to completely re enforce the engine firewall after it collapsed on me. Its good now.

Hi Jake, the motor is an OS .75 nitro motor with 14X6 prop. Its a pretty gutsy motor and hauls the Pawnee around pretty well.

That landing wasn't so bad. It looks like a fun plane to fly.
