Austrian economics is the best there is but for some reason they don't highlight fractional reserve banking which has brought down the gold standard historically like in france in the 1700's under louis the 14th where people who had deposited gold in vaults discovered there was none left one day. maybe mf global is just a precursor like bear stearns.
