Reminds me of my great grandmother. I was listening to this CD on the car ride away from the last time I saw her. I hardly spoke to her, I knew she was sick and dying. The Fray changed my life completely... I can relate to all of their songs and when I listened to this song for the first time I cried! It was one of the most powerful songs I have EVER heard. when i hear this song, i interpret a different way than most do, i think.

when he says "there's really no way to reach me, cause i'm already gone", i don't take it as literal. i take it like he's too far down, as in he spiraled to the bottom, that no matter what you say you could never show him the light or make him realize his wrong.
