I recall seeing Randy Denton play for Duke in the 1971 NIT consolation game against St. Bonaventure...hard to believe that was 40 years ago!! Great interview.
seen him play for Memphis back in the day. My brother and I were fanatics. We went to 25 or so games a year.Sucks that Memphis could never support the team :( And now they support the Grizzlies with the outrageous ticket prices . Go figure. I remember sitting at courtside for 1 DOLLAR back then, (18 and under prices) Those were the days,when carrying the ball wasn't allowed. Today most nba guards do it and the refs look the other way.
This was pretty cool because he is my uncle. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the afro anymore.
