Alright, i own this game and have a legit CD key but lost the disc. I have it installed and mounted to Daemon tools but when I go to start it up it says insert the BF2 CD. Even if I start it up from the mounted CD it launches and says the same thing.

You mount that then start it up like normal. This will let you get into punk buster servers. Instead of using the crack. if u get "this is only tested for windows xp" or something while installing, right click it and go to proprieties and go to the compatibility tab. cheek the "run program in compatibly mode for:" and select "window xp (server pack2)" and apply it. try installing it again

-try turing graphics into lowest settings

-try turing punkbuster off

-use pixalshader or 3d alalizer

@liaxhons123 I'm not a computer whiz but it sounds like it could be one of these problems:

1. Graphics card cant support the game or the game isn't reading your card.

2. Not enough RAM?

3. If your trying to play the online and it does not work its because you used the crack.

4. Maybe wrong type of computer, mac has trouble playing certain games.

5. One of your pc components is not being recognized by the game.

@glitchyboy10 thats what daemon tools is for... u need to download daemon tools and create a virtual disc... it is very easy, just open daemon tools, click add and search your iso file (in this case,the battlefield you just downloaded), then proceed to install and crack
