Have you noticed Spongebob's voice was deeper in the older episodes? Now his voice is high pitch and annoying. I like this Spongebob better than todays. He was funnier in the first seasons. :(

The old Spongebob has to be one of the biggest parts of my childhood ( this, Rugrats, and the old Fairly Odd Parents) I was born in 96 so when Spongebob was on first run I was just old enough to be able to enjoy it. One of my fondest memories from Elementary School were the times me and my classmates were talking about Spongebob episodes, even in Middle School we still loved Spongebob so much that one of my classmates had "the Campfire Song Song" as a ringtone.

(2005-2007) they had a really bad director and he fired almost all the voices, then hired new ones. that director got fired, so in the (2008-now) i think the director hired some people back for voices.

Hillenburg is no longer the director of the show, the new director Tim Hill completely ruined the show: SpongeBob cries in almost every episode, they're overexaggerating the crying thing! It was FUNNY in the movie and Grandma's Kisses and tolerable in the old episodes, but they turned him into a total crybaby! Patrick has gone from a total doofus to a doofus with occasional smarts and ugh...

After the movie premiered the show would of stopped showing new episodes. But in 2004 a new person took over the creators job as the director. After THAT happened...Well Spongebob became...like how it is today. Now Stephen Hillburg is the art director instead of the show director.
