I am making one too. With 4 M motors. It is very very powerfull. You can't stop it by holding the axle or a gear. But yours looks very powerfull too. I really like yours.

Thanks, yeah I never tried putting my finger in it but the axles would twist quite a bit when the teeth had trouble ripping something apart.

Simple gear reduction, plugged an axle into each motor with an 8 tooth gear threaded onto the axle meshing with a 24 tooth gear threaded onto the main axle that the cutting teeth were placed on.

try to put some huge gears on the motor axle, and thens some tiny ones to up the rpm, and then put some gears with lots of teeth as the shredder pieces. All my upgrades+ high powered motor+ tEh n00B pLanE= Styrofoam dust

I got mine from an older Lego Power Functions Bulldozer & Excavator.

I posted videos of both of the models on this channel. Otherwise if you just want to buy them separately then I suggest hitting up eBay or Bricklink, as I do not believe that Lego sells the tracks by themselves.

Although they would also make nice rolling pins for a battle bot...

and the power miner set is only about 4$
