  • just be sure to twist the strands around eachother instead of one around the other, otherwise u only use the strenght of 1 cord instead of the combined strength of the strands..

  • If you put the two strands a bit apart from each other on your leg and with your hand flat on top of them(palm side touching strands) you can just move your hand forward and it'll twist both strands at once.

    It's a little complicated and I don't know if I explained it enough to be comprehendable but if not there is at least 2 videos demonstrating this on youtube so search those out if you're interested.

  • Gives me the idea that in a survival situation long hair gets cut and put to use.

  • My neigbor has some sharktooth swords from the Gilbert Islands made in the 19th century. They were lashed with coconuct fiber/human hair cordage. Very unique.

  • Would it not be better to make three strands and then braid it? Good job on the vid though.
