Please turn down the volume for the background music next time. I could barely make out what you were saying in the 2nd half of the vid onwards. I could understand the relatively loud volume when you were 'showing off' what the laptop's speakers were capable of, but not the background music that you edited in.
Nice video, though. Just what I was looking for. The laptop's a beast and really purrty.
@Zhaquiri Thanks. Also, yeah happened since I didn't realize the audio levels for the tracks were not all the same for the sequence of videos. Been learning how to make things more consistent among multiple tracks in editing.
from what I can see the NX90 lacks a backlit keyboard so fails as an alternate media device for the home, As someone who does watch a lot of media on a laptop I find it bazaar that ASUS didn't actually try test playing media in a low light environment like a living room, if they had they would have noticed how big a pain a normal keyboard is to use.
@MrWest1869 It all depends on how you look at things. From a hardware perspective you can get other laptops with a 18.4in screen size with more power and minus a few features for less. But, they won't be as geared for multimedia, feature more plastic, and definitely not as classy looking. The NX90 really is a niche laptop for a niche market.
@dozzaskebab If you really care about frame-rates and playing games I'd say it's best to just get a gameing laptop or a laptop more geared for performance. With the NX90 you get what you get, there is very little room for improvements as far as parts. It was designed as a multimedia laptop. It will play most modern games at a playable framerate on med-low and most slightly older games it can usually get into high settings. That's about it.

@LinuxGalore Back-lit keyboards are nice. Most laptops however don't have back-lit keyboards so on that front it's nothing really unexpected.

If i wanted a better frame rate for games, what needs to be better? Graphics Card?

@dozzaskebab Deffinately the RAM
having more RAM allows you to store more Frames simultaneously, giving you much higher framerates on games
