I tell everyone who asks that they look for aptitude, creativity and willingness to learn. No amount of preparation or studying can help you with that. If you have it you'll get through. The claymation practice is a good sign, keep it up :) but remember do it for the its own sake and not merely to impress someone.
@MrBlazzzzer Thanks. It's been a long time since we made it, so I don't remember, but off the top of my head I'd say it took us at least 5 months from conception to the final cut.
double thumbs up..specially liked the way smoke comes out of the tree and the jet of water coming out of the dam...and the cyclone and the top, and the men in the cubes and the sperms and the snakes...
