That's not true about only having 1 number as being a big winner, 2 weeks ago, i have 10 numbers hit on a 10 dollar Illinois lottery ticket, and under every prize was 1000 dollars for a total of 10 grand, and all the numbers that hit repeated multiple times on the ticket, so your philosophy is false.
@NoTyOuRaVeRaGeKeViN I think he means you can't get the top prize on most tickets with multiple winners on the same ticket. Now, each lottery is different, so what is true in NC may not be true in IL.

I prefer to buy a scratcher, scratch the verification code right away (I don't even bother playing the game!) and check it by the self-service scanner.
Saves a lot of time, it tells you right away if you win or not. There are the only two possibilities anyway, hu hu!
I'd play $200,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE instead b/c it simply has the best odds (33% chance to get a winning ticket ie any prize)
Oh I never have won over $20.00 on a scratchoff ticket !!
