That thing looks perfect. It's your truck, but I'd say no more lift and certainly no cowl hood. It's just right - looks badass but yet clean, uncluttered, and refined. It's refreshing.
i live in bothell...so pretty close to you...im not quite sure what the state law is...im sure you can google it...but i know that they measure from the middle of your bumper to the ground and i think it needs to be under 27 inches...i think...?? and im not sure on tires but the bigger you go the more likely you will need mud flaps...i sold that black truck...i now have an 85 k5 blazer..8 inch lift, 39.5 mickey baja claws, stroker 383...500 hp at 6500rpm and 390hp at 468 tq at 4000 rpm @ crank
She's a beaute man. What part of Washington? I live near Monroe. Love these old Square body p/u's. Do you know the state maximum for lifting a truck and max tire size? I wanna build one to the limit with a CAT engine

And then, I'l be drivin my Duramax in heaven..lol..I have a Pontiac TA, 66 Chevy 4x4 & my 2010 Duramax, but the Duramax is my pick lol, I just bought a 79 ford highboy for my dad, I'm not a ford man but he's been wantin one for a while now so I figgered I'd give'em whhat he wanted, I wouldnt have my old chevy if it wasnt for him....God Bless ya buddy!!!!
ive got the same truck, im looking to get a four inch lift with some fat tires, however mine isnt 4x4 and i just want to know wether i sould waste the money on it seeing that its not 4x4..help me out anyone?
@xXsixfoothobitXx that would be a waste of time unless you convert it to 4x4. if you try to go thru a mud hole in 2 wheel you will almost always get stuck
BADASS!!! I got a 82 chevy 3/4 ton 8in lift with 37s and a sbc 350 and a np203 transfer case like yours. My turbo 400 tranny just cracked so I'm putting another one in it check out my videos. There is only one video with my new 37s most of them I have my 36s on
