I haven't seen this worn studio les paul with p90s here in the states, but we have the Les Paul Studio 50s tribute with p90s. I got a goldtop color.

@Furz13795 mhm lass mich überlegen was heißt studio? was für ne frage, die gitarre is halt schlicht gehalten den im studio brauchst du keinen schnick schnack sondern nur sound. deswegen kosten studio gitarren auch weniger als die anderen gitarren. das wars heute auch schon wieder bei willi wills wissen und wir sehen uns morgen wieder ciao

@Furz13795 Studio steht für eine etwas abgespeckte version der original gibson les paul STANDARD. Sie ist Preiswerter, da an ihr an manchem Schnickschnack wie Klarlackierung oder Bindings gespart wird.

@Furz13795 das "Studio" heißt, dass die Gitarre nicht besonders verziert ist, also keine so aufwändige Optik hat und insgesamt günstiger hergestellt wurde. Darum sind "Studio Gitarren" auch günstiger.

Nevertheless, I'll always think that you can't make out the tone of a guitar by playing it in such a high overdrive mode. The fine sound differences between the pickups are just irrecognizable when you play with such a distortion.

This doesn't mean I don't like overdrive or distortion, but too hear what a guitar sounds like, play it clean!!

Gibson recently started putting p90's in their faded studio models. I got one mail order but didn't like it compared to the chromed humbucker pickup version with pick guard, a cosmetic issue for me. I swapped it out, but the p90's do sound noticeably better. They had a much warmer and fairly brighter sound.

Die brummt, weil P-90 ne art Singlecoils sind.

Wegen der einen Spule im Pickup, brummt die.

Beim Humbucker sind es zwei Spulen, das Brummen schaltet sich dann aus.

Nur eine Frage: Warum kostet diese tolle P-90 Paula soviel mehr als die normale Worn mit Humbuckern ?

Wird sich der Preis da mal anpassen, das wäre nämlich für mich dann ein Kaufgrund.
