What material do you use to make dust filters ? Pantyhoses looks so easy to rip, but not just that, it leaves a bit of dust go through it. Help !

Let me show you my home made dust filters here.
Components:
1. Ordinary cotton gauze.
2. Some more flexible mex insulating with black color.
3. Double adhesive tape.
4. Scissors.
5. Ruler.
6. Black marker.
7. Two hands.
