the single core processor is exactly what disappoints me about the desire hd. and it's also been like 18 months since it was released, so that's something i consider as well. however, since the desire hd is getting the ics update, and the htc sense is AWESOME, i think i'm going for the desire hd.

You CAN NOT make a voice dial call from a blue tooth device. It does not have the bluetooth functionality to "listen" to the head set.

Mine keeps locking up. The screen goes blank and all the buttons and screen become unresponsive. I know that its running because it uses battery. This is happening 2 -3 times a day. The only way to restart it to take the battery out and that is killing the flap.

Even if it wasn't glitchy. The battery life is not fit for purpose ( Don't tell me its because of the big screen - they knew the screen size when they designed it).

@amy6teen Technically , the incredible S is newer and although it's almost the same as the Desire HD , its screen is Smaller and it does not have Dolby Mobile sound enhhancement , other than that its actually the same , other than a few tweaks like the fact that the buttons on the bottom rotate . So if i were you , i'd choose the one i want based on the screen size ... do you want the DHD's giant screen , or do you tihnk its "too" big and want something that would fit in your pocket.

If you want a decent camera you buy a camera. You aren't going to get amazing pictures from any phone camera out there.

From what I've seen the pictures are pretty decent anyway.

I just got annoyed 01:15 seconds in. I have had it for about a month. I had a blackberry. The speaker phone is a bit rubbish, and the battery life is rubbish - but I'd say average compared to the new smart phones. The gap at the memory card is there however I work with horses and no hay/hair has got in there unlike the gaps I have on my Blackberry. It does seem to be a big phone, but it fits into a universal phone pouch. It took me a while to get used to it, but I recommend it

and you can ROOT your Android phone to install custom ROM-s and do lots of other things like overclocking the processor..

@yassodude Sure. One of the main reasons why the iPhone 4 is doing so well is because of the app store (HUGE amount of awesome apps). Another reason is because iOS is buttery smooth due to hardware acceleration. These 2 factors (not to mention many more like highest screen resolution etc) are enough to show that the iPhone 4 has better functionality for most people. However some people prefer Android due to its 'freedom' in customizing etc,

Reason : All the app store apps work and go on the android market + waaay easier too develop apps + android app supports a huge number of android phones so the essential apps for each phone alone take up alot of numbers AND an android phone ca legally support 3rd party apps :) i bought the HTC DHD a month ago and its was smoother than the iphone + on paper its just as strong if not stronger :D also, pls explain "Many more"
