Like to ride this train when I go to Japan, wonder how it compares to the Skyliner comfort-wise.

I rode this train from Shin-Yokohama to Narita. I started in Odawara and took the Shinkansen to Shin-Yokohama. Waited 20 minutes for the N'EX, then took it to my terminal. The whole journey took about 1 hour 20 minutes. That's about 2 hr faster than if I took the bus from Odawara, not even considering traffic! It was very comfortable and I was pleasantly surprised to see luggage securing straps!

I love the animation on the external display panel! I just uploaded a vid of the new E259 myself, but it's only from the internal. I love the design of the new E259.

Nous somme aujourd'hui dans un monde où l'ont recherche la consomation la plus minime, et on voit des train avec un design pareil, c'est pratiquement comme un poid lourd... Il n'y a qu'a regarder le TGV il est profilé lui, je trouve ce train un petit peu a côté de ce que l'ont recherche de nos jours.

Y'a un truc qui me dérange avec le design de cette cabine, pas aussi moche que celle de l'AGV, mais byzarre esthetiquement. Parcontre j'aime bien les écrans d'annonce sur les cotés avec les animations, ça c'est terrible. Sinon j'aime bien le look des voitures

Amazing design. I went on the old Narita Express in April '06. Japan is such a wonderful country and the railways are wonderful.
