Thanks Jackie... Uncle Bob was for years my dad's only "best friend." He and Pat, though we were not blood relatives were pretty much my real family. I wish I had more footage to share, but the stuff that I have is precious. I'm so glad the Internet is here to immortalize these characters.
Bob Townend (Uncle Bob) was my brother in law and I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing Bob LOVED all his Jazz friends. It's nice that I can go into your site and see Bob playing and telling he's jokes in a song.
