sync it with what ? do you mean pc ? then install windows mobile device center. to install stock rom, you perform task 29 and when phone restarts, softreset using stylus and while soft reset press vol down/vol up (i forgot wich key to press you can google task 20 or go to xda that's the place where you get it) key. when you see tri color screen saying usb flash the stock rom.

I know you're probably bogged down and get mad responses (i know just because im a graphic designer people think i can fix all their computer problems, lol). When you back up your files before unlocking, do you have to back up your contacts, numbers, and pictures also or will they stll be there after you install the new rom ?

So this is what you do before you put those custom ROMS on your phone right? Can you give us the location of this program? Also, can you undo this if you decide to go back to the stock version?
I actually used a webcam. See my review of the Microsoft LifeCam HD. I couldn't record the PIP in HD though since it drops frame rates but the lower res on this camera is so good though and its future proof for HD

just a quick question, this unlocks the phone and not the sim card. Meaning it cant be used overseas ?

You will need to back up all data including contacts, numbers and pictures. They will not be there when you install a new rom.
