@BlueDAmAGeee The point isn't the ease of use, this is a home built proof of concept bike, instead of viewing it as a step back, look at it as a glimpse forward.
Try to cycle 45 km (28 miles) 5 days a week. Also when it's raining, when t's windy, in the winter season too. You will get glimpse of reasoning standing behind all of this. Normal bikes are good - okay, no problem. But "normal bikes" are good enough when used on short distances. Or maybe your neck, wrists, backbone, ass are made of steel? So you don't care.
Well ... it depends on hardness of your butt. Personally I had enough of "normal bike" after 8 weeks of regular 23km trip (one way) 5 days a week (TOTAL 1840 km). I didn't care about my butt on short distances (<14km) but I switched to recumbent bicycle when I was cycling a greater distance JUST TO GET TO WORK. I was more relaxed on a recumbent bicycle. That's all. Do whatever you like. Did I mention that I used "normal bicycle" bicycle for 5 years in Netherlands?
That I sa dream come true. I designed a motor cycle on papaer when i was 17 in 1968 that had that same principle.of tilting with the turn.I had it belt driven. On paper it was perfect.but I never took it any further ,because i was just a crazy kid. I later saw it built in japan about 10 years later. BUt it was not self leveling. it needed pumped hydros to bring it back up straight. There are otheres out there. BUt you kept at it and yours is sweet .that is so cool.
whats the turning circle like? is it limited? unlike a bike.

I'm sorry, but I have to call gay on this.
Put a motor in it, or keep being gay.

WOW , very nice bike ... What is the weight of the bike itself? and the size of crank you use
xsplosive 1 year ago
is it harder to climb hills sitting in that position vs a regular 10 speed where you can stand up if you need to.
jesse2006 1 year ago
I want one. Where do I get one? Can you do a tight turn? Is it easier than riding a bike? I have many questions.
