hey guys, i need a new glove and its between the rawlings heart of the hide and the a2000. any suggestions?? also tell me other good gloves in the $180-$220 ranges. tthanks
@cLaX1227 the a350 is a very ugly and flimsy glove but if its for a kid its ok because they dont need an expensive glove early in their life . the a350 is ok for any position except catcher and 1st base .
@dfcvda best way in my opinion is mink for new and old mitts, it preserves leather so much longer and doesnt make the glove heavy, but make sure you only use a little bit. you can pick it up at your local cvs or shoe store kiwi outdoor mink oil is the one i use
hey great vid but idk where u get these stuff I live in Australia and baseballs not that popular so they dont sell these stuff. please tell me a site or a store that sells this stuff
somebody please help me. how to wash a smelly Baseball glove? not the batting gloves. then how to prevent the smelly sweat? should i wear another normal glove then wear the Baseball glove? it will be too tight. help me please.. thanks :)
I just beat the crap out of my gloves with a baseball bat. It beats up the leather and makes it loser, so if you like very stiff gloves, then you probably shouldnt do this. But if your glove does get more lose than you wanted it to get, than you can just dunk it water, but not for very long. I have an A2k, A2000, 2 pro preferred, and 2 heart of the hides.
@djtriple2 put your glove in kitty litter or something like rice. They absorb water well. Not sure if it works 100%, but it is worth a try because it wont hurt your glove. Try it at your own risk.
Gloves have hinges and that is where they fold. The hinge in this video and on most gloves is located at the bottom right of the glove and is signified by two pieces of leather stitching that run parallel to one another, seen clearly at about the 1:09 mark. This is the hinge that the two halves of the glove fold on. Notice that it is not strait but rather off set, pointing up towards the palm and webbing. When correctly broken in the thumb touches the index and middle fingers not the pinky
@fatninjacatmatt when you put a ball into your gloves the gloves take the size of the ball and when you catch a ball, the ball can go out of the glove from the top because he got the size of a bigger ball
I have this Rawlings glove featured in the video. It is a great great great glove! I have had it for 4 years and it is still perfect. I recomend this glove to anyone that plays middle in-field.

That oil never works very well. The best method is soaking the glove in water with a ball in the pocket and then applying shaving cream. Thats what the pros do.
@SinfulMessiah no they usually just use shaving cream or the special lotion the manufacturers make. I've never met someone who soaked a glove in water. tht would just ruin the glove. n no pro is stupid enough to do tht.

you are right if you soak it in water for 24 hours then right after you take it out, oil it a lot or use shaving cream then a new glove will be ready by the end of the week
This is the worst thing for your glove, Don''t use the elastic stuff, its only bad for you glove.
Smear lightly sheaving cream in your glove and go throw with somebody or throw the ball in in your glove while you wearing it.
the elastic stuff is so bad for your glove, you fuck it up then.
