  • the faster you go the longer it takes for you to stop, should you need to. there's a speed limit for a reason.

  • Trying to keep up with traffic? Yeah, I know how that is. If you're doing the speed limit, you're just going to meet he guy behind you and they're goign to run you over. If you're going to slow, you become a hazard. Not saying break the law or anything, but that's just my half-cent spit of an opinion. Law has to back off a bit there, and understand that most don't want to speed. They also don't want to get rear-ended.

  • I'm kinda diggin the music...

  • @BRAVOADD The music was done by Digital Music Artist PSexNYC. You can hear more of his music at macjams.com/artist/psexnyc.

My personal PSexNYC favorite is "Just Like Rock and Roll"

  • I am really surprised being able to type on a keyboard isn't one of the requirements to be a police officer. No one who has to ever use a keyboard for their job should "finger peck" the thing.

  • maybe they should up the speed limit FUCKING DUH. this isnt the 1950s. we have cars that can handle driving faster than 55 safely. and in new england pretty much everyones going 65-75 mph anyways. hundreds if not thousands do it each day WITHOUT getting hurt. so maybe the speed limit is bogus?

  • @yourredcomrade717 definitely not. when your speeding you chance of getting injured is much increased. if you need to stop fast you cant because your going 20 or 30 mph over the speed limit and the simply is not enough time and the higher you speed the greater the chance of you losing control of you vehicle is. police dont make the speed limit anyway the state does.

  • @metalraider6661 oh really? then what about the auto bahn in germany? you dont hear any horror stories of deaths in the thousands on that stretch of road. yet there is NO speed limit.

to drive faster, you have to pay more attention. most crashes are caused by clueless assholes weaving in and out of traffic. unsignaled turns, tailgating, etc. and most crashes occur at intersections and smaller roads because they are not paying attention. and not paying attention isnt safe at ANY SPEED.

  • new york state troopers are assholes! ticket writing yankee bastards! The only place I ever got a ticket. NY state by a butt head trooper. Alaska or Texas have real troopers!

  • @w5txrmark uh the new york state police are one of the most highly respected and recognized law enforcement agencies in this country. the new york state police were the first to an accredited law enforcement agency by new york state and they are also always the first the re-accredited by the state also. and being a new york state trooper is not easy you have to be smart and tough, not just mentally but physically because they have a 26 week military style training program.

  • @metalraider6661 infact, most crashes in my area are caused by people who drive too slow, or change lanes without signal or looking. driving too slow is often more dangerous. especially on on ramps. it forces the right lane to slow and leads to alot of rear ending. so does driving 50 in the passing lane. i drive over a 50 square mile territory and over 200 miles a day. and ive yet to see a crash from someone doing 80 in the passing lane. weaving yes. but a steady speed no.

  • The taconic can eat a dick

  • Ahhh the fine day of a cop on the job, concerned with victim-less crimes to bring in revenue, makes me feel safe at night when I sleep

  • That trooper looks like Jay Z

  • Geez that suv was messed up...

  • Good think they added that new law in NYS where you have to move to the left lane when there's a police car with it's lights on pulling someone over on the right shoulder. Avoids those close accidents like the one almost at the end of this vid.

  • No blue in front in NYS unless you are a volunteer firefighter.

  • What's with the red lights, all police should have blue lights

  • nice music

  • Silly NY cops, police have BLUE lights

  • 3:17 When I am not wearing my seat belt, I am an aggressive driver?

  • thumbs up if you didn't see this turning into a news article

  • Reminded me of DK n64

  • i always thought you couldn't show a license plate number on camera

  • The music makes me want to puke, other than that, this is a really good, informative video. I just wish it didn't have the soundtrack over the policeman's voice.

  • @RussellClank

Heyyyy.....easy on the music.....I made it up all by myself.....me, my guitar and GarageBand....that's one of the first songs I made up when I first got my mac......Glad you enjoyed the video though.

  • @dvproducer Well sorry, it's not really the tune of it, that's all good, but just the overlapping of the music over voices. Naturally, I focus on voices, plus I'm joining the Sheriffs' department eventually, so I'm trying to focus even harder on voices. Pretty much 90% of the other videos on youtube suck, and this is a one-in-10% and a very good ride-along video featuring a traffic stop, but just mentally, music-over-voices doesn't agree with me. It always makes lose focus.

  • @dvproducer nice man. Good tune

  • @RussellClank hahahahahahhaha

  • I remember the 4th of July weekend I drove to Missouri. Trooper cars were jumping out of the ditches after speeders :)

I'll admit that I will push it 5-7 past the limit but only because I don't want a ticket. And so far I've been able to cruise right by troopers actively clocking and they don't give me a second look. Plus I dont' use as much gas to boot and still get where I'm going in a decent amount of time.

  • i dont give a fuck!!! i speed all i want and havnt gotten a ticket for over 5 years. my radar scanner has chp's number

  • 4:05 badass mustang

  • YEAH NYSP!!!!!!

  • Can you tell me how to get in a police ride along

  • "Hey Whitey I pulled you over because when cops of your persuasion never give my homies any breaks. Let my people go and I will let you off with a warning"

  • Fucking cop 2 finger touch typing. Learn the fucking keys you fucking faggot.

  • @rocaho001 You're taken back at how the guy types? Get a social live virgin.

  • @Hbryant188 lolumadbro?

  • @Hbryant188 btw he types like a fucking fool. LIKE A MORON

  • Gotta love those speed traps

  • my family hates it when i drive lol cause i always go the speed limit lol

  • Amazing how well behaved an officer is when being filmed! Its ok for them to speed outrageously and tailgate you when clocking you like they are some perfect driver immune to the same dangers they accuse you of committing by speeding and tailgating. Money generation con, thats all it is! No driving course in the world could make them imperfect. We need more citizens arrests and video taping to hold our public servants accountable!

  • lol the guy in the mustag reminded me of the german guy and his hot wife from super troopers!!!

  • how did he get busted "doing 80 in a 55 miles an hour" at 1:42 and again at 3:48 for "74 in a 55"

  • tttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • fucking archaic traffic laws. The autobahn has speeds over 100mph and less accidents per mile than the US and Canada

  • @MaddDogg81 Agreed. This whole idea that speeding guarantees traffic death's is Bologna. I'm almost 100% Positive if they constructed better roads they would have less traffic accidents.

  • Lol they look like queers with those funny hats

  • how old do you have to be to go on a police ride along?

  • @beastmomohi18

i'm not certain if there is a particular age requirement (but there's bound to be one). I was fortunate enough to be employed by a News Agency and fortunate enough to have a News Producer with State Trooper Connections to hook me up for this Memorial Day Weekend Travel story.

One of the commentors below is an actual state trooper (you'll have to read thru the comments to determine which one he is...I don't remember), reply to his post to see if he can give you some info.

  • @dvproducer ok, thanks :)

  • @beastmomohi18 They want you to be at least 18 but I got a ride along as young as 16. If you join the explores program you can possiably ride along with an officer at the age of 15

  • @truegangsta326 cool thanks

    im 13 though

LGPD doesnt give a s*it anyways lol

  • @beastmomohi18 18, legal adult.

  • @thedriver97 i think it varies in different states

  • @beastmomohi18 Join the explorers program ,14 - 21 age. You can ride along after a short test that they give you

  • @beastmomohi18 Usually 16, anything younger than 18 and you'll need signed parental consent.

  • @beastmomohi18 pretty sure you have to be 18 but the dept might have a release form if your not

  • @beastmomohi18 you have to be at least 18.

  • @beastmomohi18 14 and up I believe. You have to be over 18 to ride passed 11pm.

  • @beastmomohi18, 16 - 21. If you personally know a officer. Just ask for a quick ride or ask the police department.

  • "...traffic allows them to speed." Well, officer, if traffic allows them to speed, don't you think that it shouldn't be speeding then? Speeding is just a money grab. Speed limits are made for when there is considerable traffic on a roadway. When there is less traffic than at the roadway's maximum peak, there is no reason that a person should have to drive the speed limit.

  • Damn!!! wish he would have pulled me over... I would have given him my #.. He is FINE!!

  • thank god the speed limit in wyoming is 75 :D

  • He pulled over the same car? 80 in a 50 and 75 in a 55 lol.

  • Yeah New York State Troopers

  • Speed doesn't kill people, inexperienced drivers kill people.

  • Well, I finally got popped by a NJ State Trooper.....I was doing 88 in a 65mph zone. The trooper was kind though. He said he did not want me to lose any points against my license, so he slapped me with a $50 No Seat Belt ticket instead.

    "Thank You, Sir!"

  • @dvproducer Yep, you got really lucky. NJ is a shit state...I live here

  • @dvproducer Nj state trooper is that, New Jersey Police?

  • @dvproducer

They just want your money. That's the MAIN goal.

  • @dvproducer Just a bit of information that MOST people don't know. If you are clocked speeding and the officer pullS you over... TAKE YOUR SEATBELT OFF. QUICK! See, here is what happens. If the officer writes you a speeding ticket, the department gets a VERY small percent of the fine... BUT if you have your seatbelt off, he will waive the speeding ticket and give you a citation for seatbelt. 100% of the seatbelt citation goes to the dept thru a gov't safety grant. CHEAPER THAN A SPEEDING TICKET!

  • @LawingFamily Or we can cite for both the speeding and the no seatbelt violation. I'd love to see where you get your information from. There is no law in place that says we can only cite for one violation especially when it comes to a moving violation.

  • @LawingFamily until you get two citations because he wanted to document his pc to stop you..

  • @LawingFamily

    Hmmmm.....

  • @dvproducer If only miami cops were that nice.. My dad got pulled over for a no seatbelt violation. The dude just walked up and said "heres your ticket" and drove off.

  • @ThaBR33D Haha, I was a City of Miami cop for two years. I was the local asshole cop. Ive never let anybody of with a warning.

  • @T67GS300 EH, I probably will too. I'm gonna be FHP after my duty in the Coast Guard is done. I will subliminally be targeting BMW's and Land Rovers.

  • @ThaBR33D The FHP are real assholes. Recently I got a ticket for doing 73 in a 70. She knew I used to be a officer too. And last year, to test the new turbo setup on my Lexus I got a fat ticket for doing 144 in a 70.

  • @T67GS300 You can't get a ticket for 3 over... The tickets start at 5+ whatever the speed limit is, anything under is a warning. You should have taken it to court.

  • @ThaBR33D Naw, down here you can. I gave this retard with like 26 inch rims of his car a ticket for 37 in a 35.

  • @T67GS300 Well it wouldn't be that much of a fine... Just like $15 or something, cause I think 6 over the limit is $51.

  • @dvproducer Yes, and this comment argues aginst people saying "All cops are bastereds" and so on.

Cops are good people, and they are here to keep us safe.

  • @simonmaersk

I gotta agree with you! From my experience, most cops are calm, cool and collected people. I've been handcuffed, riding in the backseat of a patrol car headed to the precinct and had a blast with the arresting officers....seriously! The 3 of us laughed and joked all the way to the station. I actually had a good time. But I have also dealt with officers who were overly combative with attitude and just all out rude for no good reason. We citizens are both ways too!

  • @dvproducer Yea, and being a police officer is just a job like all other jobs. A job doesnt change people, and yes, of course there is a rotten egg in every bunch, but you cant generalize saying that ALL cops are stupid.

  • @dvproducer i live in nj, generally speaking nj state troopers are the worst,

  • @dvproducer

    Retard.

  • @dvproducer did you have your seat belt on though?

  • @dvproducer .. that's what most cops will do. however, people start arguing with cops saying "i had my seatbelt on blah blah blah" .. they don't understand their going to be saving hundreds of dollars & points.

  • Visit motorists (dot) org for more information on the way speed limits should be set and enforcement should be conducted. Speed enforcement kills because cops are too busy on the median to bother dangerous tailgaters and reckless idiots.

  • @sociopathicregret Great information! Thanks for sharing!

  • @sociopathicregret 100% agree

  • People who support this kind of radar enforcement should read up on Traffic Engineering first. Speed limits are supposedly a probable cause for a stop because its presumed that you are driving unsafely if over the limit. This is why there needs to be an engineering study to justify where to put the limit, if any at all (more rural areas). Most people drive the same regardless of the limit, but politically set arbitrary limits increase speed variance and make roads more UNSAFE. Proven by studies.

  • @tufftalk, someone has to do it. I'm sure the mail carriers, janitors, landfill workers, gravediggers etc didn't think they'd have that job. Even the small jobs play an important part. FBI wouldn't dare pull over drunk drivers, someone has to.

  • @hatch82 30 million people had drank and drove last year. Were their 30 million accidents? 15 million accidents? 5 million accidents? the answer is no. The DUI/DWI thing is overated so is gun control. Most people who own guns dont kill people.

And jackass dont say the FBI wouldnt pull over drunk drivers. The FBI and CIA both infiltrate drug cartels let alone a drunk driver. are you serious?

  • This is a joke of a job. Seriously. I mean did these guys really say to themselves I want to go to school/academy so i can give people tickets for speeding, jaywalking or skateboarding. 90% of the time being a cop is just being a glorified Security Guard.

REAL law enforcement jobs that actually stop REAL crimes are in the FBI, U.S. Marshalls and CIA. Beat cops are jokes

  • @MrTUFFTALK And beat cops are the ones with the low paying, thankless jobs that are preventing many crimes simply by their presence. Just because you don't see them making a lot of arrests or car chases doesn't mean they are not helping in some way.

  • @movieguyabe Security gaurds are paid low and thankless also. So what is your point?

  • @MrTUFFTALK I agree that security guards are paid low and work thankless jobs. My point is that the service that beat cops give their communities goes largely unnoticed and unappreciated. To say that "beat cops are jokes" is pretty lame and degrading...and not true. That sir, is my point.

  • Unfortunately we will always have people taking it to the next level wether on a jobsite with kiss ups or in this case this guy making every state trooper look bad. Extremes r always bad on anything any day.

  • cops are pricks and they know it. All cops.

  • if i was the cop i would have pulled over the guy in the honda accord again and gave him a ticket for being so stupid and not checking his mirrors before getting back on the highway (2:50)

  • 80 on the highway and 60 on the streets are different. You cant run into a pole on the highway...

  • music sux

  • Yeah Niger give him a ticket all days longs ...I not enfavor of any speeder, but when your turn and when you get home and drive your own car..I'll be watching you anything you do and the way you dtive for next 30yrs ,but if not than I will Video on tape and send to Nation News..You better be a good model in what you said or do...If not than ,you are just another criminal out there WANT TO PLAY FAKE COP AND ROBERT...there is no clean law...only crook trying to make there own law...

  • DID U SEE THAT OTHER COP PASS BY??!!

  • Fuckin pigs

  • @pimpninja1985 wow, you're sooo cool. I wanna be like you when I grow up. LOL xD get a life, you fucking troll.

  • state troopers are gay. all they do is give out tickets

  • @WeltEin Yeah, and investigate traffic accidents, and set up DWI checkpoints, and assist local Law Enforcement when called on, night and day, rain, snow, and shine. Yeah, thats all they do.

  • Fag.

  • sounds like the NY State Police have a Federal Delta Signal siren

  • as slow as that nigger types, he'll be shot in the head before he gets it typed in

  • @rectaltemp u pile of shit! u don't disrespect a police officer like that or any other emergency service personnel

  • @rectaltemp Really, guy, you have nothing better to do with your life than to come to a police video and talk shit...lol You need a hobby.

  • @parker14225 And you respond to those people. You need a hobby too.

  • In Michigan our state troopers have one red light on top of the car it's all ghetto lol.

  • no justice

    no peace

    f@ck the police

  • Welcome to America: The Police State. Speed doesn't kill. Speed differential does kill. In California, if the traffic flow is going 75 and you're doing 55...you'll get your ass pulled over for going too slow even if the speed limit is 55. Cops are dip shits.

  • I can tell you there are no quotas even though admin looks at the officers productivity which is based on arrests, tickets and overall performance which changes every month.Rule of thumb write a book a month and you slide by.

  • these State Troopers need more lights on the cars.

  • allot of troopers will tell you if you say i was keeping up with the flow of traffic, what about them why dont you stop them, trooper: "have you ever gone fishing?" ..... "didnt catch em all did you"

  • the cop was tail gating the guy and he did not put his car in a safe position at a angle that way when he is hit his car will not hit the car in front

  • @bugguy905 cops pull behind cars that they just pulled over at an angle so their out of the line of fire.....not incase they get hit in the back. If thats what your trying to say your wrong...if that not what ur saying then your a confusing writer!

  • I prefer your version. It's more honest, more real and human.

Reporters don't always make things better with their comments... it's more fake, more dramatic for stuff that really doesn't need that.

  • Send speed limit to hell and i want to migrate to a speed-free and discipline land of Deutschland.

  • Comment removed

  • @hadabenz Speed-free Deutschland? It doesn't exist. You'd be lucky to even acquire a driver's license in Germany. Moreover, the requirements to maintain it are more in-depth. If you lose your license there don't expect to ever get it back. Alcohol...1 strike and you're out. Just because ppl can drive faster on the autobahn doesn't mean there aren't speed limits. Highway code is strictly enforced on the highways and byways in Germany, as well as just about every other civilized nation on Earth.

  • I live in the Netherlands and drive to Bonn and Dusseldorf every single weekend. Richtgeschwindigkeit (advisory speed limit) only posted when accidents happened or adverse weather condition. the rest 75% of Autobahn A's are limit-free. And there's Rechtsfahrgebot, a rule that tells you to stay on the right unless you travel at high speed and passing cars. Polizei are monitoring this constantly, making sure we obey the rule.

  • @hadabenz Ok, that's reasonable given the engineering of the Autobahn. Many of the knuckleheads in the US, mainly certain younger ppl who intend to defy any sort of authority seem to think motorists overseas can do whatever they like without consequence. The notion that other nations do not maintain a safe environment on their highways and byways through law and highway code enforcement is a mis-perception many of these individuals seem to champion as evidence of their 'oppression'.

  • Oh well I have wanted become a Georgia State Patrol since I was ten but I'm a freshman in high school so I stil have 4 years to go but I'm going to college first to get a criminal justice and psychology degree and then go to the police accadmy and become a deputy sherif in our county for about 6 years then enter to GSP but I wish I were you by the way yall've got some nice chargers GSP is got some nice chargers now especially the maked metalic blue and silver ones.

  • @pearldrumsarecool learn how to spell acadamy first before you go! just kidding, obvious typ-o......good luck to you !!!!!!

  • the new york state troopers also use lidar and the laser detectors now. the laser can not be picked up by any radar dector. you should just be care ful and watch your speed. (i live in new York, and have family that are state troopers)

  • I wonder why they use red and white lights in New York in Georgia Police.Sheriff's Deputies, and State Patrols have blue lights and some have a little amber on the back of there lightbars but red and white is for EMS and Fire.

  • Each state uses different colored lights, here in PA police use red and blue lights.

  • Yeah and at least yall (you guys) have blue in your lights which is what I think all Law Enforcment agencies should have.

  • @pearldrumsarecool NJ state police have all red lights.....and the town where I live has red and blue

  • New York states highways are littered with cops, cant wait to see how many times my radar goes off next time i drive thru there this summer. They only use radar right? or Lidar too?

  • Yo, the NYS Troopers are equipped with all the tools to pull you over while speeding up and down the highway. From my POV, sitting in the backseat of that Trooper's car, they also use their Eyeballs and Judgement to catch speeders. Be careful out there!! Watch your speeds!

  • Yes they do. But writing a citation for speeding they need an actual speed on their devices in order for it to hold up in court, if the person decides to contest it. Hope you had a good time riding along with them.

  • @dvproducer or just go of the interstate

  • @dvproducer

The NYS Troopers are equipped with all the tools to extort the maximum amount of revenue from the tax slaves. They use their eyeballs and judgment to inflict maximum harassment, abuse, and extortion upon the Proletarians.

Be careful out there. Watch your wallet and your ass!

  • @Powskia Dunno but if radar detectors are illegal where you live, some patrol cars are equipped with RDDs, which can detect radar detectors.

  • fascinating

  • yourm0mlikesme, shut your trap & go back to elementary school, learn how to speak & spell. "you failz at grammar mr.polic man"?? Fucking RETARD, sounds like YOU fail* at grammer NOT Mr. Police* man.

  • yourm0mlikesme, the trooper was simply writing the statement made by the motorist. often it serves as evidence in the courtroom. he was not writing a dictionary so cut it off!

  • what is the pic at the beginning and at the end, with the rasta guy?

  • @Gutsyndicate - That Rasta guy is the guy who shot and edited and uploaded the video.

  • "Rental car" being the key word there. Don't brag till' you can actually afford it.

  • Comment removed

  • Money721 So your going to risk the lives of whole families because of you ignorance! You wont be to fast when your brain is splattered on the assault with the family you killed!!!!

  • @Money721 what's the point of posting comments like this on a police video? Are you looking for a negative reaction?

  • lmao at 2:26 "my wife just home fromthe hospital"...my 3 year old cousin constructs better sentences. you failz at grammer mr.polic man. That cop has never typed in his life. hahaha

  • nice vid have any more like this?

  • what is the name of this song in the intro??

  • Crash Kills 8 on Taconic Parkway

It happened again!! Another T.A. in teh same area!

  • Why isn't he wearing a badge

  • instead of a badge he has a patch on his left shoulder.

  • its a tradition in the old days when they started they didn't wear a badge because it would get caught on branches when they got off there horses say under a tree its all tradition

  • Maybe if we'll have copses, of those people who died in car crashes because of speeding, haning along side roads, maybe then people will understand. But untill something drastic happens, people won't stop.

  • excellent work 5/5*

very nice siren sound in the back can you send it to me?

  • lose the music

  • how did u get the ride along?

  • The ride along was my assignment for the day. It was hooked up by one of my station's producers who new the troopers would be doing a traffic sting. A well placed phone call and a little coaxing went a long way to get me and my camera in the backseat of a NYS Trooper's car.

  • @rainpaw4

Go to your local trooper barracks and ask them if they offer ride alongs. If they don't, you can always try your local police department.

  • no. he said "you were doing 80 in a 55.Did you know how fast you were going?"

  • I love how this NYStrooper01 dude is still acting like a cop when he isn't. No respect for someone who act's like a officer and really aint one, admits he isn't one, tells people to fuck off and then goes back to acting like an officer again......
