  • nice :-? but i think you should slow down a bit more :-? feel the song :-? it is a nice , not too fast , beautiful song :) anyway , nice :)

  • @TheNinjaMagic123 ah :-? you should sit still when you play , i know you love this song but you have to sit still to play --> nice pose --> good attraction , i think :)

  • you should try playing this on a real organ it's quite fun

  • Wow! very nice!

  • better than me but i havent even tried the song but i do however have the cd and the 26 copy of his work pachelbel's cannon in D Major, i have never tacken a lesson on the piano but i am profficient. so i think i am okay on the piano. sorry i dont mean to brag i am just satisfied with my tallent. lol very good denise you are very talented dont let anyone tell you different.

  • If you think it sound bad see if you dumb asses can play better. I bet u all can't even play any instrument. Heck I play this too in a keyboard, and do slightly better than her but do not critisize her. You know how long it takes even to learn to play canon sloppy on a keyboard? Some even give up out of frustration after a few try, maybe you guys are one of those people.

  • @tangnatalaga Actually I do play this peice but alas without the mistakes which you probably enjoy. Thanks.

  • ooo screechy no offence xD

  • Sorry to say Denise, but it sounds absolutely horrible on an organ, I don't think you'd make it sound much better on a piano either. Sorry. This has so many wonderful themes throughout it and you need to let each one sing and give each it's turn throughout. Plus too many mistakes and blurriness for my liking, but keep practicing, I'm sure you'll get it in the end.

  • @jordonbrown123 Thankfully, Ms. Hewitt is instructed of wisdom of wisdom to have left your--just so's all might know how that, with your own weakly put and poorly worded post, you left a can tied to your own tail: One would hope that, either in the home, or in your "Church College of New Zealand" you might have aquired decency and reserve to have long ago left off any use of the puerile slur as an ingenuous sign of self-revelation and witness against your parent's home and your teachers, . . .

  • @phillipgaley I'm a little lost for words as I really don't understand what you are trying to say I'm sorry. Perhaps a better understanding of the English language would help here, in particular, before you presume to start talking through that hole in your head you call a mouth. Have a great day and god bless! hahahahaa

  • @jordonbrown123 You understand English: You commence in useless and puerile expressions calculated to serve in discouragement of Denise, and finally--concluding in the same vein: "hole in your head and god bless! hahahahaa", you show yourself in pitiable lack of development of soul--how could your use of language be any more clear or expressive of how you were raised, or of the time in which you were in college? Also, it was a long time before you, or I that, the "mouth" was named, . . .

  • @phillipgaley Oh goodness your rantings and ravings seem to be getting worse, I do hope that one day, obviously when your command of the english language far outweighs your blatant ignorance of life in general, that you could perhaps find a bettter audience accustomed to mindless, meaningless and unfounded rantings as I have to confess, your wit and charm are most definately wasted on me. Although I do feel special having comandeered your attention like this. Have a great day!

  • @jordonbrown123 No, Hey, all's I was tryin' t'say was some body ought t'feel purrty stupid fer beetin' a strugglin' musician over the head with yer boring and insipid criticism--specially when you ain't done no better nor nuthin', yer self, . . . an' now is this in terms which you c'n understand?

  • @phillipgaley Well I must agree your english is starting to get better however, my comments were constructive, perhaps if you spent more time learning english (and perhaps how to play the piano) you'll find your mindless rantings would possibly be better constructed. FYI, I do play this peice of music myself, so I definately do know what I'm talking about - such a shame you don't. God bless!

  • @jordonbrown123 YOUR: "sounds absolutely horrible", "don't think you'd make it sound much better on a piano either", "Plus too many mistakes and blurriness", which you personalize to yourself: "for my liking", then to personalize again in concluding mockery: ". . . . but, . . . I'm sure you'll get it in the end.".

    And, to your mind, that's to sound like, . . . constructive criticism, . . .

  • @jordonbrown123 One other thing, you say: "I do play this peice (sic) of music, . . .", don't TELL us, rather, SHOW us, . . . put up, say, five or ten seconds, . . . it should give a nice comparison as a basis for your senseless criticism of Miss Hewitt's work. C'mon jordon, it's not like I'm asking you to sing acapella--just a little snippet of your piano prowess, . . . but, . . . you won't, because, . . . it'd just end up, . . . a comic performance, . . .

  • @jordonbrown123 @jordonbrown123 Also, you say: "I do play this peice (sic) of music, . . .", don't TELL us--twice now--rather, SHOW us, . . . put up, say, five or ten seconds, . . . it should give a nice comparison as a basis for your senseless criticism of Miss Hewitt's work. C'mon jordon, it's not like I'm asking you to sing acapella--just a little snippet of your piano prowess, . . . but, . . . you won't, because, . . . it'd just turn out to be, . . . a comic performance, . . . right?

  • @phillipgaley Oh goodness, 4 months on and still your rantings are sounding no clearer or articulate. Please learn to speak proper English for trying to talk to me. Unfortunately, I only speak 3 languages, none of which include Crazy. hahahaha. Have a wonderful day.

  • @jordonbrown123 But, for all your knowledge, you didn't show yourself to be a nice person; and therein appears of natural course, our fundamental divide—the basic premise of your person tells you about how much respect you deserve, for merely being smart.

Our life's courses are oblique to one another—if not quite opposite—nor in reason, could your facility in more languages or other knowledge be anticipated as any movement toward our unity, . . .

And, correct your: "English for trying to talk".

  • @phillipgaley Oh and sorry I don't do requests, however, if you care to see some of my videos, you'll understand, Canon in D is most probably at the bottom of my repertoire list. God Speed!

  • @phillipgaley While he could have worded it better, she did go too fast in some areas. Each instrument needs adjustment for the piece. I understand enough technique to know this. Trying to put someone down with your poor use of "big dollar words" is not any more respectful than Jordon. To give a true critique, she did a good job, but she isn't a master in this video. I went to music school with a piano major. I've seen a true pianist and organist play. She's good but needs some work.

  • @phillipgaley By the way, you shouldn't use "so's" as a contraction. It's poor grammar. Your use of "Church college" shows animosity towards a religion, and your use of "ingenuous" show you are reaching to sound like an academic. If we are to treat others as adults, maybe you should try behaving like one and ignoring the posts of those who could be easily ignored instead of trying to sound elite and arrogant. It just makes you look equally as ignorant.

  • @jordonbrown123 While I don't agree with how Phillip acted, I don't agree with your criticism. Unlike an actual critique, you put her down instead of taking her good points, touching on what needs work, and encouraging her properly. You basically gave a back-handed compliment near the end of your post. If we want people to improve, we don't say, "You sounded absolutely horrible." You can say, "You obviously have talent, but you may have been too fast." Use some tact. It gets you far in life.

  • @Rainhylda Of course, she needs more practice; and yet, however that might be, without wasting the time to itemize just everything, beginning with his: "horrible" and continuing through in other manifestation of poorly formed character, my opinion of the whole is that, it could not have been "better worded"; now, you c'n unnerstan' that—cain't ch'?

  • Batura, you are a loser and should "learn type english"

  • You brought tears to my eyes. you have been given a greater power then some could imagine. Hugzz!! Alan.

  • An excellent idea! Although I usually do 30mins/day on an execise bike to keep in trim now:) Warm Wishes - Denise

  • Ms. Denise, you are wonderful! Any losers who cannot manage to play the first measure of this piece have to TRY to bring the winners down. Great you did not let that happen. GOOD FOR YOU!!

  • lol

  • im going to solo it too ^^

  • I loved it!

    you are a wonderful musician!

    Bravo to you! ^_^

  • Delightful...

  • Wow, that's so so good. What keyboard have you used? :)

  • Hi - I'm playing Pachelbel's Canon on a vintage Technics SX-PR60 that was manufactured in around 1989/1990. I've now upgraded to a newer Technics SX-PR903 that was made in around 2000/2001 that is really cool:) Check out my latest vids! Best Wishes - Denise

  • wow.i wish you can teach me how to play piano... i have a piano but i cant use it because i dont know how to play it...huhuhu!!!

  • i love it...

  • And ps don't take any bullshit that anyone may give u on the gender issue u r who u r and that's beautiful. Personally I think I might be a transgendered individual and I just wanna say that no matter what anyone says we're all beautiful people, inside and out.

  • You play beautifully, though if you ever find yourself around a regular piano or something, be sure to make a recording of that hehe I'd die happy to that. This is my favorite piece of music from before the 20th century btw and I think your version is just dandy.

  • how old are you?

  • Thanks so much for viewing and for your interest! If you check out my Bebo Profile that is linked to my website you'll discover that I'm already 54 years old:) Happy New Year in Brazil! Denise

  • u r not play well....sound s really suck

  • huh

  • what a crock !!!!!

  • This sounds really rushed you could have slowed down

  • That is not the original version. Pachelbel did not play a Technics electronic organ. He played a Hammond B3.

  • Not much of an organ fan....

It'd be nice if you can play this on an actual piano...

  • I must say you played this beautifully. Don't listen to what some of those other people say, they are just jealous. But I love your version. I hope canon in d sounds exactly like this at my wedding :)

  • Thanks so much for viewing and for your kind comments! I wish you all luck and eternal happiness at your wedding:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • beautiful song.

  • Hi Alessandro - Thanks so much for your kind comments! I love your soul too:) Ciao - Denise

  • work it sister!

  • Thanks for viewing! My keyboard is fully electronic so it is 100% in tune, and my nails are natural, so difficult to change. And there are no repeat signs at all in my version of Pachelbel's Canon:) Denise

  • you need some help sick !

  • Fantastic!!!

  • Transgendered! - Somewhere in between:) It is fascinating that western society is so polarised regarding gender when so many are like myself! It makes life both more challenging as well as interesting! Denise

  • God made man and woman not in between.

  • bravo!!

    two thumbs up!!

  • BRAVO!!!

    TWO THUMBS UP!!!

  • Seriously, i got shocked when that "women"(im not sure) smiled! lol nice music anyways

  • That is because she is a man...no offense

  • Thanks for viewing and for your interest! I've been transgendered since I was 7 or 8 years old, so life has been especially challenging for me:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • I hope someday I can play like that

  • Who cares about if it is a guy or not, it's the performance, that should count!

    Well done,

but your Keyboard hurts in the ears, when you play higher tunes :)

  • Thanks so much for viewing & commenting:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • looks like a bloke in drag

  • Well at least I'm honest in my YouTube Profile! I'm transgendered - have been ever since my childhood:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • Where your soul for this song? And why you playn't without note paper?

  • Ha Ha Ha....I like that big smile you have at the end of the performance!!! you look really happy and satisfied!!! GOOOD Job, Denise.

  • Thanks so much for your kind words! I really adore Pachelbel's beautiful Canon with all its deep harmonies:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • i would LOVE to hear this on piano because on the organ some notes sort of... over power the others, but amazing performance!

  • I'm thrilled you enjoyed my performance! And thanks so much for your suggestion - I'll definitely record a version for piano later this year:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • agree, it's like kinda jumbled up sound at parts, but it's still amazing. Keep it up!

  • Denise, you are not only a talented person, but you also have a great sense of humor.

  • Very clever! I'm not sure about OCD, but I've been transgendered since my pre-teens, and been playing piano from this same early age:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • Wow a great performance! Well done! Pachelbel's cannon in D is one of my favourite songs to play :)

  • Thanks for viewing! I've listened to your performance, and you play really well too, and I like your syncopation & jazz style! Keep Practicing & Posting! Very Best Wishes - Denise

  • Very nice video; I think you could invest in a better organ, to have a better sound for the great pieces you're playing. Greetings from Belgium !

  • Thanks so much for viewing! Of course a better organ would be great! It's all a question of budget & finance so I do my best on what is available:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • Just have a look on 'bargains stores ' and market places ... Good luck and have a nice day :)

  • Many thanks fo your excellent suggestion, and good luck with your organ repair business! Greetings from England to Belgium:) Warm Regards - Denise XXX

  • Hi - I've sent you a separate email with links to various on-line versions of the Sheet Music for Pachelbel's Canon:) Good Luck and Best Wishes - Denise Hewitt

  • thank u again the links u gave me are really good versions of the brilliant canon by Johann Pachelbel which i envy it ever so much, anyways i should stop bothering u, so thanks alot again and goodnight

  • wait miss Hewitt, is this the orignal version, by Johann Christoph Pachelbel himself????????? if so can u please tell me where u got it from. Thank u alot

  • Yes! This is the original Canon by Johann Pachelbel - Of course there are many versions for various instruments including piano, organ and guitar. You'll find much of Pachelbel's Sheet Music on the Werner Icking Music Archive (use Google Search):) Denise

  • ok thanks then, but just one more question, how do u know that this is the orignal one? sorry for taking ur time and thank u alot for answering. and goodbye to thy

  • Hi - You'll find most of Pachelbel's Sheet Music, including his famous Canon, in the on-line "Werner Icking Music Archive" - You'll find this easily using Google:) Good Luck! Denise

  • Thanks for your kind comment! Greetings from London & Best Wishes:) Denise

  • Miss Hewitt, can u please play and post Johann Christoph Pachelbel's Gigue, if u could that would be great, thanks

  • WOW YOU ARE VERY GOOD BEST OF LUCK TO YOU

  • Thanks so much! And Good Luck and All Success to you too:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • thank u alot too and god willing succes to thy too goodbye

  • I really appreciate the attitude towards the music that it results in a beautiful master piece. Ma'am you did great, and I don't expect that an electronic thing can produce that kind of such harmonious sound...GodBless

  • Thanks so much for your lovely comments! Of course the masterpiece is by Pachelbel, and I'm just doing my best to do justice to his magnificant Canon on the keyboard:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • thanks ur too kind, and keep up ur good work by helping the composer's be known for thier great dreams, unlike ppl like Jerry yc, whom does not care ever so less about Mr. Pachelbel, nor probly any other composer of whom he plays, i don't consider him a musican, anyways sorry for taking up all ur time, i know ur busy making or playing great songs and i wanted to say that ur doing a great work and keep it up

  • Wow you sure commented a lot to your viewer comments. This was a great song, and I love hearing instrumental versions.

  • I always like to respond to everyone that takes time to view and comment on my musical videos:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • you r a very nice lad, and best wishes to thy Miss Hewitt

  • If you're going to play the piece for an organ..do it on an organ. Keyboards sound tacky.

  • I agree that it would probably sound better on a "real" pipe organ - Maybe you'll have a chance to record yourself, and share on YouTube:) I always love to view new instrumental versions! Best Wishes - Denise

  • Hello Madam,

I love the sound of your keyboard... what is is the name of your keyboard.

    Thanks

    Joseph

  • Hi Joseph - The keyboard is around 15 years old and is a Technics PR60 - Digital Piano - which has a range of sounds and modes:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • that's a pretty good sound from an electronic thing . . never used one, but this is really full

  • pretty good

  • I always thought that Canon should be played with a deeper background music, like a deeper organ pipe.

  • Nice legs! :-) :-)

  • I'm delighted you enjoy my legs as much as Pachelbel's magnificant Canon:) Denise

  • That was impressive! What kind of music education have you got? I'm really curious :)

  • Oh god its a mirror :O nvm im stupid

  • I think that was her reflection

  • Never heard it on the organ before. Really nice to hear, but I didn't quite like the hazy sound. Good playing though, and keep up the good work!

  • This is a very good peice of music, and it is played amazingly well.
