stock up all the rares and magic items and store them till you find cain. when you start running out of space, get rid of and sell items you know will yield less gold. (IE, class specific items, ethereal, very low level common items,) NEVER sell rare items (yellow name)... later on, enemies will start dropping more gold.

you download the mod and in that folder is a file called Patch_d2 or D2_patch.mpq....you copy that into you're diablo 2 folder in prog files and there you have it;) !!!P.S.!!! remember to copy you're old patch so when you want to replay the old version you wont have any prob;););)

go to jay of teror's website. A google search for his name would suffice, click on the thing that says ROT Set-Up and download the gateway editor, and follow the directions in the readme it came with. You will just choose the new realm and play it online just like closed bnet. I suggest actually downloading the version from that site aswell, otherwise you may not be able to play with other people due to incompatibility. If you don't see any games, it's probably because they are destruction.
