  • Jahtari sent me

  • In Soviet Russia, this music dance you

  • What a couple of badasses ;3

  • Being spanish from father's side and mexicano from my mother's , I've always loved russian culture. Their dances, and the melodies therein are beautiful. More multi-cultural appreciation is needed.

  • Korobka ia a wooden box..Korobeiniki are pedlars with boxes tied to the back filled with second hand goods...In this song a young man has scraps of brocade and fabrics for sale..he woos a girl he'd like to make His sweetheart...and says put out those spongy little red lips for a kiss. tetris involves quickness and cunning...peddling, arranging boxes or soliciting a kiss before the shy girl runs away the connection is quaint.

  • This was how the Tetris theme was born.

  • In Soviet Russia, Tetris plays YOU!!

    already.

  • boy, she really gets that dress spinning. :D Interesting dance. :)

  • it's wonderful!

did you take this from wikipedia?

  • The original, 19th century version of Korobeiniki is beautiful. <3

  • @Blueslipstream The 21st century (renamed Tetris) is beautiful, too. :P

  • cause nintendo gamifies every little aspect of life for their customers.

  • I don't know what this was, but this song is normally accompanied with a much different dance at Renaissance Festivals.

  • Most likely because the two dancers in this song just did a folk dance, with Korobeiniki, insted of that whatever is danced on the renaissance festivale.

This dance may not match Korobeiniki perfectly, but I doubt the one you saw at the festivale would match, at all.

  • Wish it was a fuller clip... but good capture nonetheless.
