@mrdrumstixx yes it does, coming from a drummer with 7 years of experience and many wasted dollars on equipment, a trigger you tap it softly and you get a full mic'ed sound, while acoustic you have to use alot of energy to play it to its full sound, making triggers require alot less work to play, therefore making it easier

This is a terrible solo... Way to play a constant steam of 36th notes - i can do that too. Like Subhumanmaster said; if fancy theatrics like turning the drum-set around and sideways is necessary to make a good show then he obviously is not a good drummer.

Actually, you're wrong. He has double bass drums, which allows him to keep the steady flow, while the toms are what you're mistaking for snares. The snares are hardly used in this solo, suprisingly. The cymbals are most prominent, though.
