@borladyno back pressure in the exhaust helps with low end torque only. that 4.0L V8 produces more than enough torque to get that thing going, and it needs very little to zero back pressure because it is a high revving beast. Matched with ITBs, that motor screams like no other (with an orgasmic sound too). Im a technician at a BMW dealership... by far the M3 is my favorite. Just remember CATs are for emissions, not performance.

if you wanna annoy your neighbor, go with a full titanium exhaust :D. Super light weight and it makes very beautiful sound. Shoot, it might sound so good your neighbors might even fall inlove with it haha
