  • My kid has a bug out bag where she can snatch it have supplies for a few days. In it she has water bottle filtration knife hammock first aid food cooking supplies way to make fire clothing multiple change of socks walking stick survival whistle you get my drift the things she has. I am promoting her knowing what to do when I want to instill in her thinking abilities not to look to any man for a solution she can figure out things for herself. We camp in the yard to practice using items too.

  • @cdltpx great shit bro.

  • @jrda128 ?

  • @cdltpx what @jrda128 meant was awesome stuff.. good for you for teaching your kid how to survive..

  • I shop at thrift stores I have all the appliances for my daughters first place already saved up and she is 11. I buy her clothes at thrift stores too when I find something on sale that I know we will need later I buy it if it is more than 1/2 off when something breaks I try to fix it. I take food temp bags to store so my food will not spoil prematurely. We always have fresh fruit on the table yogurt in frige I process much of my own food use a pressure cooker to save time and energy.

  • When I go to the store I buy my food by the lowest unit number if something is too expensive I don't get it when my family wants to go to movies they go off peak when price is less a backpack is stocked with their snacks all they buy is a beverage. We do have full Inet and cable but find ourselves at the library 2 times a week we get video books attend programs there. I am frugal I want to go to the LDS and stock emergency supplies not go to disney. I change my own oil air my tires religiously.

  • Wow, this is just disturbing.

  • we need to bring back michael jackson to heal up our world the world is not good without u. michael

im 12 and i know how these kids feel, i was almost homeless and my family is having money troubles. :(

  • @violapinfinder but you still kept the internet? lolwut?

  • @bobscanfly That is kinda mean.

  • @bobscanfly

My stepdad makes a bit every day, but we use most of it for bills and the rest we use for internet and food.

  • and YET the government still pay for illegal immigrants to go to our schools !

  • @swatus your a fucking asshole

  • I have money I am not wealthy but I can afford to buy everymeal at a resturaunt. I have eaten from the dumpster behind the local supermarket I ate well. I had my fill of cucumbers tomatoes salid dresing canned beans out of date pies bread and veggies I can't identify. If you put your pride aside you can eat in this USA other nations have none of this there is NO food to discard.Go dumpster dive or fishing, catch crayfish, shoot squirrels cats dogs nutrea coon opossum deer I can and will survive.

  • @cdltpx You are absolutely right, there are unlimited resources in this country and there is no excuse for failure if you live in America. Americans ought to be appreciative of the resources that are accessible at their finger tips upon a crisis that may happen in their life. And lets face it, 8 out of 10 people live above their means and statistics show that to be true. If you ask me, America has access to to much food evidently. LOL

  • @jrda128 I took my kid to a dumpster and we removed items from the dumpster. We were able to earn cold hard cash that day. In that dumpster there was designer clothing they were in good shape so we took them home washed them and went to a shop that buys top end name brand clothes we got $14 for the clothes. We had other items that could have ben turned into money. People throw away things all the time for no special reason just cause. Some get a gift from a relative they dont like and toss it.

  • @cdltpx We don't need $ but I was teaching her urban survival skillz how to get money fast and honestly. Granted most would take their straight A honor roll student to the glory parks but that is why my kid makes the grades she knows it is the best way to get the jump on the others. I don't tell her to turn her head when we pull on skid row I point out what they could do to make their situation better granted many are mentally ill I am not refering to them I am talking about those with snap.

  • Honestly, its all those dumbasses in American... Bush? And those asses in other counties like Gaddafi and Osama. Running the US dry, leaving good people like those in the video to suffer. Damn those people.

  • Humm maybe some good will come out of this great depression#2 after all. Something tells me that kid will get a job and save his money so he never has to face this again sure wish the punks with the BASS stereo that I can hear over the TV a BLOCK away would find out how retarded they are. This kid here probably will never have a stereo like that he probably will get along on a supper efficient scooter till he has his first born.

  • Obviously this really sucks, but following the last kid in the video, it can be a good thing in a way. My mom die when I was 9, it sucked, but it really helped me become mature and responsible simply because I had to.

  • There is nothing worse than having a childhood feeling inferior and poorer than other kids in school.

  • Blaime fucking Bush for stealing 700 billion dollars from the pockets of the working

class to subsidized his war on weapons of mass distraction. or should i say oil.....and Obama for being house nigger and not helping anybody but the rich get richerand the Republicans steal or rob from the middleclass and the poor's pensions and retirement funds

  • I'd like to see half these people who are splitting hairs about what homlessness is switch places with any one of these families. While you sit in your home waiting for big brother to come snatch you from your sprawling home with the big fat mortgage price tag and see how you feel having to cram your whole life and family in one bedroom under the roof of strangers, neighbors and swallow your pride of providing your children with their own home.

  • @TheAfroQween By the way, I luv Chi-Town. Keep spreading Love, Peace, Equality, Freedom, & Prosperity to others. Nice convo though. I'm out

  • I can tell everyone is slowly loosing their fucking morals and their fucking minds to sit and watch this shit and feel the need to make jokes and poke fun at someone else's misfortune and debate about how homelessness is defined - I see the world, especially America is the most sadistic and demented of all other countries with the LEAST empathy & so called 'brotherly love' Thank you elitist government-- another notch in your belt of inhumanity.

  • @TheAfroQween I'm also a strong advocate of the less fortunate here and all around the world and always have been. I'm not trying to diminish their situation, because poor is poor, but there is a difference between America poor and Mexican poor or Afghanistan poor, or even India poor. Lets just face that fact. I've been to Eastern Europe, Romania to be exact, which is not even a3rdworld country and I saw kids taking food out the trash and eating it. I gave a lot of money away when Iwasthere

  • @jrda128 There is NO difference- when you don't have it you don't. You just contradicted yourself & I'm done- I've worked in the medical field for many years and traveled just like you & I've seen children right here in America with nothing just like overseas.. period- there's no argument- being w/o in America is the same as being with out in any other country.

  • @TheAfroQween I have to disagree about being without in America vs other nations I can go to any spicket and get a few gallons of water almost anywhere in America the water is clean enough to drink and you will not get the hershey squirts. Many places around the world the water they drink is the water they bathe. We have to learn the hierarchy of things they go like this AIR, WATER,BODY TEMP/ SHELTER,FOOD. Learning survival methods can make your survival much better should you be without.

  • @cdltpx I have no idea what survival methods have to do with being homeless in other countries vs here in the US. Survival is survival and a person teaches themselves survival methods when they have no other choices. They also have chlorine tablets they can get free from the local embassies for their water- they distribute them regularly in places that do not have clean drinking water or they make fires and boil their water. You can disagree all you want- I have been in the trenches&seen 4myself

  • @TheAfroQween Survival methods have everything to do with it. Watch Dual survival Man vs Wild, Bear Gryls, If you know what to do you can survive almost anything. Look in my favorites it is loaded with survival methods. Ways to make shelter what weeds you can eat how to dumpster dive skin an animal trap and animal if you must eat a rat if you cook it you can. Hammocks to keep you cool in summer bikes to take you across the nation to a job I have found working bikes in the trash add air ride.

  • @cdltpx Additude is a poem by Charles Swindall you would do good to read it.I have lived my life in that manner and have pulled off things when you swore we had no option. If you think you are defeated then you are you will never win but if you identify the problem and spend more time on the solution than the problem you will fair better than the one that will curl up and cry. If I am in the wilderness and it is freezing I know I can take branches and stick them in a snow bank to dig a snowcave

  • @cdltpx I know that fuel is getting very expensive so I know it is also about to get very scarce so I bought a used scooter I will be able to get to the store or the river to pull a few fish out. I know how to take bottles and make small fish traps for bait I can choose to eat just bait and rice. I know how to arrange sticks on a river bank to make a fish trap no tools just know how. If worse comes to worse I can use 2 boards to go worm grunting and eat them eat wild berries palm hearts turtles

  • @jrda128 The shelters here are over crowded, they have no room and there are children right now that have no where to sleep, bathe or a hot meal to speak of. There are families sleeping in their car, in tents and under highway overpasses. How is that different than any other child in any other country that has no where to live? Im done...

  • @TheAfroQween you nailed it...there is no difference.

  • @chingon711 Thank you Love- people just want to have something to 'be right' about- shows the elitist supremacist mentality that has infested the minds of most people in this country. How ridiculous- India poor is different from American poor.. smh--- the most ignorant shit I have ever heard. Peace to you sweetie

  • @TheAfroQween i also think you are right. i'm only 14 but i've followed the argument and i agree with you. there is no difference at all. and it's not an adult's way of thinking. it's also a kid's

  • @clarinetluvr811 Thank you sweetheart, you are a very wise young person- you are proof that the youth have more sense of consciousness than most adults that have lived a lifetime- pure common sense from the eyes of a child- out of the mouth of MY future- thank you! Stay strong and aware & always think independently -

  • @TheAfroQween I find it ludicrous that you and many others say that there is NO difference between the poor here and Africa. WOW! You can't be true to yourself by saying such rubbish. Than you really have not stepped a foot out of America or talk to our foreign friends in those impoverish nations. And like I said before, I have never ever seen kids nor have I had kids approach me and ask me for money and digging out of the trash.

  • @theAfroQween Oh and yeah, I take that back about there being many programs available to the less fortunate in this country because you can thank the Obama crime family for slowly getting rid of those vital programs which are needed in our society here in America. As long as you do what you can do to help any less fortunate person/people, then I ride out with you, and we are on the same page. I don't get my info from the media mass destruction, I get it from experi or those who have lived it.

  • @jrda128 clearly you haven't experienced it fully enough- and unless you paid for my passport and passed me thru customs then you have no idea where I stepped my foot in our OUT of this country- I have relatives in Africa & I KNOW what I'm talking about- and if you stayed in Chicago LONG ENOUGH you would have seen it- instead of visiting Navy Pier next time come to 57th and Sangamon ave- I'll show you kids, adults and ELDERLY asking for food, $ and help with finding a place to say. Wake up

  • I lost my father a few days after my birth and was raised by women and my mother lost her job 2 years ago. She's gotten so poor from this we had to move into my grandmothers house. o.o This apartment has 2 rooms. o.o Yes my friend I don't really have a room of my own, lol. xD

But I feel bad about others though! :( I kinda know the feeling? :\

  • @ellowellez at least you have Internet. no but srsly i feel bad for you.

but you gotta see it on the bright side ;/

  • @Pys3n The only reason why I do have the internet is because I walk to my aunts house and she lets me use it. :) And I do look on the bright side. o.o Hopefully this big problem heals, it's a horrid feeling.

  • i dont think they wish to have every luxury life has to offer...they just want stability, a home and just enough to survive through this economic mess...living hand to mouth isnt so bad, but when you have nothing to eat or a roof over your head, i think its only right that our govt step in...we give so much to other countries in the form of financial aid and complete disregard our own of whom some are suffering just as much.

  • Homeless, what the fuck? I see people lying on the streets dying. And this motherfuckers have central heating and everything. Fuck your definition of homeless.

  • @Wonderkid44 the people you see "on the streets" most likely suffer from drug addictions and prefer to live on the street where they can do as they will unlike a shelter.

  • Hahahaha lol.

  • This is just not right, I can't imagine what that would be like when i was a child. This is not a fair world and it's gonna get worse before it's gonna get better unfortunately..

  • Also, homeless means just that, and these people are not homeless. At least you guys aren't living on the streets literally like some of the other country's. Go to India or Haiti and then you'll see true homeless people. Are these folks economically challenged, of course they are, but not homeless.

  • @jrda128 look around you, look a little closer- there are children right here in America that are living on the streets, eating out of dumpsters being raped, tortured and snatched from their parents arms each and every day, regardless to where they are now, they are homeless bc they have place to call their own. PERIOD- Haiti and India aren't all poor and homeless, the media shows you what you want to see about so called third world countries, capitalism hurts EVERY one below the mil. $ line

  • @TheAfroQween "Haiti and India aren't all poor and homeless". Are you serious, you can't be. My father in-law has been to India several times and plus I have friends who are from India, and they told me everything about India. And Haiti, well I'm not going to comment on that one, you are way out of touch there. With my 30 years being alive, I have never seen kids eating out of the trash nor sleeping on the streets here in America. There are way to many govt programs here for that to happen

  • @jrda128 And in my 39 yrs of living I've been to many parts of India and Africa- are YOU serious- no one person could possibly know 'everything about India or Afrika' and I have seen it in Chicago where I live - gov't programs are just that programs to help a selected amount of people, they don't prevent homelessness - do your research and I invite you to Chicago on lower Wacker drive- Fox news doesn't show you those areas.

  • @jrda128 You having friends in India doesn't mean there are not places, which there are, that are flourishing and doing economically very well. You're more niaeve than a 30 yr old if you believe gov. programs here in America cover and help everyone in need or destitute.

  • The thing I want to know is why did these people lose their home; was it because they were fiscally irresponsible and over extended their selves to a home that they couldn't afford in the first place, or did they lose their job?. If you wear a name tag to work, then your ass can't afford a house. As for the kids, I'm sorry that your stupid ass parents put you through this shit and learn from their dumb ass choices and make better ones when you become an adult. To the kids, keep your head up.

  • they have no golden voice..

  • Augh! I can't fap to this!!!

  • that really sucks for those kids.

  • this world is falling apart cause ive been homeless its not a good feeling ive gone through days without eating at all but i made through im sort of going through again now a little but im getting stronger everyday cause of it

  • better to go through hard times and grow into a strong person later on than grow up rich and spoiled.

  • @andrewofaiur Well said!..I came from a upper middle class family but my parents were immigrants that thrived in a great time(60's thru the 80's), I always worked and never looked down on anybody and now since I am older and have some life expierience with hard times I am a lot more thankful now than I ever was..

  • the world is fucked

  • @30161846

    finally.... somebody said it.

  • i feel bad for these kids...=[
