Bert - It is my dream to open a Dixieland themed restaurant/bar here in New Jersey. If I ever win the lottery and am able to do it, I will invite you & the Crackerjacks to play with us here in America! Thanks for keeping the best music in the world alive, my friend...
Great video! I'd love to show it to my elementary students during our jazz unit this spring - would you consider uploading it to SchoolTube or TeacherTube??
Thank you so much for posting all these wonderful tunes of yours - you all show such virtuosity and joy - I am discovering and falling in love with the dixieland style due to your efforts. Greetings from Pittsburgh!
Una de las más hermosas y sublimes melodias del jazz clásico, a mi humilde parecer la versión más bella de este tema la ejecuta León "Bix" Beiderbecke.
Exciting music. These guys really get into it. I didn't know the song went back to the 20's...but there was Louis Armstrong who I believe started in the 20's, so that sounds right.
To JamesPriceJohnson-are you deaf? There are plenty of good clarinet players around but you have to look for them-apparently you don't!!

I consider myself a saxophone player with a nice double on clarinet. Sax is my speciality though.
Thanks for watching,

Hello Katy,
I'm not familiar with the websites you mentioned, but if I can be of any assistance I would be glad to help.
Are they the same format as youtube? Are there any specific rules that I should know of?
Kind regards

Great band.

I first heard a duet of it with Crosby & Jolson, must be an early 40's recording. There was even a big rock & roll hit of it by Freddie Cannon.

Frank Trumbauer/Bix Beiderbecke allready recorded the song may 13. 1927.
But of course for Louis it was ideal, I believe nobody recorded it more than him, but that was after the war.
