Just wondering...can you do the same with tomatoes...maybe even green tomatoes? I suppose I'm asking how to make a chutney? We started a vege patch last spring and ended up with that many tomatoes that we got sick of them! Also, I've had "pumpkin jam" before and it was one of the nicest jams I've ever had!! The woman who made it was tight with the recipe but there were chunks of pumkin in it that stayed crunchy BUT were transparent, does anyone know how it is made?

Good report, as usual! Say, how long does the jams last in the cupboard if they aren't opened? 1, 2 years?
