that's right. there's a huge difference between tv and real life. i am a trained medical person and i won't be there. i'll be trying to help my family and people near us. get any knowledge and supplies you can get now. those things combined with a cool head and some common sense can go a long way.

The most vital & most used survival tool u have cant go in ur survival gear bags. Your MIND! Without the capability to use ur mind properly,all other items in ur gear are useless to u. It is ur mind that will truly be put to its most rigouress test ever when the SHTF.It needs to be strong,healthy & rational if it is to save u. My cousin agrees as his mind saved him when he was lost & wounded in Rockies with all gear gone & his brain kept telling his mind to give up & die. His mind said NO & won!

Thanks 4 addressing issue of civies or groups of civies whose only plan of survival is their stash of weapons & ammo & eagerness to use them.To those reading u know who u are. U can't have that mentality 4 the simple reason that if u do,u won't make it.I believe tiny organized mobile groups of well-prepared,well-stocked & most importantly-SMART ppl is the way to go about surviving.Thinking ur gonna blast ur way to safety will only make u a target FAST. Ur BRAIN is the BEST survival tool u have!!
