I find his "predictions" to be laughable, many of my student friend several years ago in my physics class made almost identical predictions.

At best ,he is pointing to a time.scenario inwhich we know little about, labelling it a miracle and using it for his argument.

All creationists do this and it was incoherent then and it still is now.

Another clear passage is Joshua 10:1-15.

You'll note that God stopped the sun, not the Earth. You must be a very liberal Christian to suppose otherwise.

Remember that all scripture is given by inspiration of God.

Don't let the heresy of heliocentrism lead you astray.

Your point about "sunset" and "sunrise" is another good argument for geocentrism, just as B.C. and A.D. are evidence of the truth of Christ as I've been told by many godly pastors. These men had the holy spirit guiding them, and would not have made an illogical argument.

Actually there is good evidence that a near pass by of Mars was responsible for the long day of Joshua. It changed the earths rotation and this can be seen in change in all the ancient calenders.
