I remember I was like this too when I discovered the thing about bra fittting, that the band should give you the most support and all that stuff...I`m glad it was early (I was 14). It`s pretty amazing how most shops have such small variety. It is impossible to buy a bra that fits you in shops like H&M or Primark- they`re all cute, but all too loose and have 4 cup sizes tops!
That ppl will think u are younger is also bcauz u are asian. I'm half asian..and for me and my other female relatives its always like that. Mostly we look younger like our german friends. I learned this two summers ago when I went to Breakout Bras to get underwire swimsuits! I thought I was a 34DD, and left Breakout Bras as a 30FF! And now, after getting on birth control, I'm 30G! I don't know what's harder- finding all around small bras, or finding small bands with large cups!

This is kind of shocking, haha. I've been wearing 32D's on the tightest hook since it rides up my back (it still does, even on the tightest hook) and I guess it makes sense that my correct size is a 28E. Which sounds really crazy but I only switched to the correct size :|

VS always measures me at a 32DD but the back is always way too loose. I measured my back yesterday and it came out to 29". So frustrating to just find all of this bra info now after all these years! Can't wait to try on a smaller band size!

Interesting tips... I might very well need to be resized. There's also the whole fact that most US bra sizes are made for a Caucasian build and Asian women? We aren't exactly built that way.
Love your videos, and you are so funny! I am not pettite (I am 5'9'' -> 175cm) and I wear 34C (75D in EU ) . I used to wear wrong numbers in bras. Sometimes too loose , sometimes smaller. When I was skinnier, I couldn't find any (less than 75, with the D cup)
I'm so glad you made this video! I am in my early 20's and sometimes people see me as 18. I'm also petite (5'2 and a half) and I never feel like a woman because I am not busty like some celebs or models you see on TV or mags. It's a challenge to find the right bra that fits because one size doesn't fit all. Finding push-up bras are difficult 'cause some "push out" instead. Lol. I am sure I am a C cup but my band size is just confusing and my mom kind of picks up a bra in my size if they are on sale and she is shopping (Indians, what are you gonna do with us? :D) so I actually am not sure how it should fit. This is very helpful, but I'm still confused. I hate bra shopping so I try to avoid it mostly. I always go for the smallest 32A but my breasts don't fill out the cups completely. I don't have a problem with band size, the back never rides up or anything. So this means I should try for a 32AA right? I'm 16, 5ft 8 and am a size F. Its hard to carry theses puppies around, and feels uncomfortable when you notice people peeking. Currently trying to loose weight so they shrink. However embrace your size girl, you got it easy!
At the moment I wear a 34b bra. They all ride up my back & I have to put them on the tightest hook. I decided to try a 32c. It fit, but it was so uncomfortable that I had to take it off after an hour, I had big red line around me (even on the loosest hook) I couldn't get a 30 band around me, a 36 was far too loose & a 38 was like wearing a hula hoop. I'm at my wits end. No size is comfortable. My measurement under my armpits is 33, which suggests a 32 or 34. I wish they did odd band sizes!

A part of the problem with the cup is that people think an B cup is a B cup regardless of band size.
I have a friend who is a 38C and was shocked when she found out I'm a 34C because she thought it was the same cup size, which is obviously not the case haha

I had such a similar experience! I was wearing 34Bs but they always fit a little weirdly, and when I was bra shopping the lady in the department store said I should try a 32C instead. People are always so surprised to hear that I'm a C cup because I look like a B, but the cup sizes really are proportional to the bands.
You should learn to sew. I have a similar problem to you (being short) but in the opposite direction in that my boobs are pretty big. Most people don't think about this, but the kids department in many department stores have small sizes. Obviously, they don't have super sexy bras (thank god for parents, sucks for small women) but if your looking for every day bras, it might work. And they do have underwire bras.

I think you're the first person I've seen that looks amazing even if you don't have a C cup, it makes me feel a lot better because I'm an A. I think it's also your confidence that makes you look so good. The smallest size I can get where I live is a 32A but by just watching this and measuring I've realised I'm actually a 30B, and I have dreamed of being a B, so yay. So, yes, if you're wearing an A 32 - then go to a A 34, not only does the band size change, but also the Cup becomes 2 inches deeper with each increse of a band size ( 32, 34, 36, 38 ) everytime you go up in the band, the Cup becomes 2 inches deeper.
Bras and proper fit are very hard to achieve but it's just really taking that information and measurement of the band and cup and lots of trail and error, like you used. :)

But it may help to know that it stems from immaturity and their own insecurities & self-consciousness about their own physical & social development. Btw, breasts grow the most for roughly 3-5 yrs. after you get your period. Sometimes even into your early twenties.
I know U can't just "stop" feeling insecure, but try not to be too tough on yourself!
@lilylilylilyz Don't worry. When I was 15 I was very small (34A or AA). My breasts started to grow a bit more when I was 17. I'm 19 and they're still growing (I'm almost a 34C right now).

i thought i was a 34b because thats what vs told me but i decided to try the sister size which is the 32c. and it fits so much better ! but the thing that alot of vs / pink bras doing have that size so some i have to buy in the 34b :/
So when I measured myself, I got 31 for the overbust, 31 for my bust, and 27-28 for my underbust. Do I round the 31 up or down? I went to nordstrom and 3 different victoria's secrets. They measured 32A. The center section between the cups doesn't lay flat with 32A sometimes so I also tried on 32B. I tried looking for 30 bands, but it was hard to find. Basically, I'm confused on what my right bra size is.

VS always measures me at a 32DD but the back is always way too loose. I measured my back yesterday and it came out to 29". So frustrating to just find all of this bra info now after all these years! Can't wait to try on a smaller band size!

Interesting tips... I might very well need to be resized. There's also the whole fact that most US bra sizes are made for a Caucasian build and Asian women? We aren't exactly built that way.

Love your videos, and you are so funny! I am not pettite (I am 5'9'' -> 175cm) and I wear 34C (75D in EU ) . I used to wear wrong numbers in bras. Sometimes too loose , sometimes smaller. When I was skinnier, I couldn't find any (less than 75, with the D cup)

I'm so glad you made this video! I am in my early 20's and sometimes people see me as 18. I'm also petite (5'2 and a half) and I never feel like a woman because I am not busty like some celebs or models you see on TV or mags. It's a challenge to find the right bra that fits because one size doesn't fit all. Finding push-up bras are difficult 'cause some "push out" instead. Lol. You have a fun personality and a lot of things you talk about can be related to general viewers here! Thank you! :)

I absolutely LOVE that you made this, your personality actually reminds me of myself somewhat! haha! Ok so, I have a similar problem with the opposite tools.. I am sure I am a C cup but my band size is just confusing and my mom kind of picks up a bra in my size if they are on sale and she is shopping (Indians, what are you gonna do with us? :D) so I actually am not sure how it should fit. This is very helpful, but I'm still confused. I hate bra shopping so I try to avoid it mostly. I always go for the smallest 32A but my breasts don't fill out the cups completely. I don't have a problem with band size, the back never rides up or anything. So this means I should try for a 32AA right? I love cute bras and I'd really love to buy some that fit me and make me feel comfortable/confident :).

I'm 16, 5ft 8 and am a size F. Its hard to carry theses puppies around, and feels uncomfortable when you notice people peeking. Currently trying to loose weight so they shrink. However embrace your size girl, you got it easy!

At the moment I wear a 34b bra. They all ride up my back & I have to put them on the tightest hook. I decided to try a 32c. It fit, but it was so uncomfortable that I had to take it off after an hour, I had big red line around me (even on the loosest hook) I couldn't get a 30 band around me, a 36 was far too loose & a 38 was like wearing a hula hoop. I'm at my wits end. No size is comfortable. My measurement under my armpits is 33, which suggests a 32 or 34. I wish they did odd band sizes!

You're a godsend. Honestly, this vid helped me out so much. I've been wearing a 32C for a few years now and recently discovered I'm actually a 30C. The support is incredible and the right bra size works wooooooonders.

A part of the problem with the cup is that people think an B cup is a B cup regardless of band size.
I have a friend who is a 38C and was shocked when she found out I'm a 34C because she thought it was the same cup size, which is obviously not the case haha

I had such a similar experience! I was wearing 34Bs but they always fit a little weirdly, and when I was bra shopping the lady in the department store said I should try a 32C instead. People are always so surprised to hear that I'm a C cup because I look like a B, but the cup sizes really are proportional to the bands.

You should learn to sew. I have a similar problem to you (being short) but in the opposite direction in that my boobs are pretty big. Most people don't think about this, but the kids department in many department stores have small sizes. Obviously, they don't have super sexy bras (thank god for parents, sucks for small women) but if your looking for every day bras, it might work. And they do have underwire bras.

I'm 5"9 and I've always thought I was a 36A but I've always found that the band has always been too tight for me, I'm 18 now and have been wearing a size 36A for a good three years, before I decided to go to a bra store and actually get my bra size properly measured. I went through the same epiphany before and I feel you on every count of how much it changes you! I think you're the first person I've seen that looks amazing even if you don't have a C cup, it makes me feel a lot better because I'm an A. I think it's also your confidence that makes you look so good. The smallest size I can get where I live is a 32A but by just watching this and measuring I've realised I'm actually a 30B, and I have dreamed of being a B, so yay. I'm Bra fit certified (if there is such a made up thing) lol.
So, yes, if you're wearing an A 32 - then go to a A 34, not only does the band size change, but also the Cup becomes 2 inches deeper with each increse of a band size ( 32, 34, 36, 38 ) everytime you go up in the band, the Cup becomes 2 inches deeper.
Bras and proper fit are very hard to achieve but it's just really taking that information and measurement of the band and cup and lots of trail and error, like you used. :)

But it may help to know that it stems from immaturity and their own insecurities & self-consciousness about their own physical & social development. Btw, breasts grow the most for roughly 3-5 yrs. after you get your period. Sometimes even into your early twenties.
I know U can't just "stop" feeling insecure, but try not to be too tough on yourself!

@lilylilylilyz Don't worry. When I was 15 I was very small (34A or AA). My breasts started to grow a bit more when I was 17. I'm 19 and they're still growing (I'm almost a 34C right now).

Certain people picked up on that energy and made fun of her. If you want these idiots to stop making fun of you, ignore them or just respond with an aloof "uh huh...okay..." i thought i was a 34b because thats what vs told me but i decided to try the sister size which is the 32c. and it fits so much better ! but the thing that alot of vs / pink bras doing have that size so some i have to buy in the 34b :/

So when I measured myself, I got 31 for the overbust, 31 for my bust, and 27-28 for my underbust. Do I round the 31 up or down? I went to nordstrom and 3 different victoria's secrets. They measured 32A. The center section between the cups doesn't lay flat with 32A sometimes so I also tried on 32B. I tried looking for 30 bands, but it was hard to find. Basically, I'm confused on what my right bra size is.

@mahuirong By measurements it seems like you are a 32A, but if the cups seem too small and the band too big, you might be a 30B or 30C instead.
