The ayat before that states "the idol worshipers sign a peace treaty with you, and do not violate it, nor band together with others against you, you shall fulfill your treaty with them until the expiration date". Stop making false assumptions and read the whole verse

With out any connection about satan thing, the "rambam" said a lot of medical things, more then 400 years ago if I'm not mistaken, he even said how many parts of organs in the body that we have, most of the things that he said, and learnt, now said to be true with the modern science.

@talalmansour17. The word antichrist was first created by the Apostle John in the Bible (1 Jn 2:18) and means someone that does not believe Jesus is Christ, the Son of God (1 Jn 2:22-23). Anyone/Religion that teaches that Jesus is not the Son of God has the spirit of Antichrist. To the Christain, the cross of Christ is central to our whole religion. We have nothing without the death and resurrection of the Son of God. If He did not die for our sins, noone has reconcilliation with God. God Bless

@Draous1 Actually... Traditionally the antichrist was used to describe a collective, those which were against Judaism. It was not until Hippolytus c. 170-c. 236AD that this actually became viewed as a flesh and bones prophesy, yes he was the first. Since then it has been applied by Christians as if it were some truism of God. In short he invented it.
In John's apocalypse, the Book of Revelation, it is commonly accepted in historical context as referring to the Roman Empire, ...

For those that do not know, Nero committed suicide, he stabbed himself in the neck. Historians believe the seven heads refer to Emperors of Rome. The one with the mortal wound which had healed stands to reason is Nero returning from the dead to further persecute the Christians.

@Draous1In fact if the text of John has the correct translation applied not the one Christians prefer “The end of the world”, it actually translates as “the end of an era”, and believed by historians to refer to the time and goings on around Nero and his death.

@Draous1 Kinkspace is almost right. if u research this stuff, there's a lot more to it. for example, muslims believe in 'dajjal' which is more or less the same as the antichrist. but even muslims have different schools of thought regarding this. some think that dajjal is one person, but others believe its a single evil organization..

'Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.' it doesnt mean that jesus claimed to be god, moreover he pointed out that he wa god's vicegerent. representative, if u will... this old fashioned english sometimes means something other than the obvious meaning.
