I have done the whole thing and its a great lesson. But one thing you don't explain is how you send just the one kick to the reverb. It looks like your cursor changes to something, then it magically goes to the reverb. How do you do that?
Great tutorials from Dubspot.. I'm learning a lot from them. And yeah man you have a cool voice. Sweet to see you guys going online for classes too. I'd love to see more teaching on a bit smaller $ scale as well. Like a monthly website type thing.

You programmed a reverb on the lead-sound that is compressed to the kick as soon as the drop comes in. What can I do, when I want to have that compressing effect a little bit of the beat or lets say out of the actual speed of my set?
Would be nice if you can help me out.
P.S. you really got some great tutorials, go on like this!!
in your group track for drums you have a kick, clap, hats and a snare. did you create your drums with a midi track for each sample? i have been using one drum rack for all of my drum sounds.. however when i record audio in the arrangement view i only have one automation envelope where as you have different, seperate tracks and automation envelopes for each sound and i dont understand how you have achieved this.? thanks.
I like it, but personally prefer it when the beat punches trough alone after the drop, instead of having the Build-up reverbing over the break, I think that kinda ruins the break, but again that's just my opinion..
i would love a tutorial to show us how to make cool effects right after the build up (like that little reverse sound and then a big crash hits, if you know what i mean). Anyway it's just an idea.
100% wet, that's how we like it:)

How do you route the reverb to each track? I assign reverb to a return track but it won't show up on any of the other tracks. Thanks!

i think both ways are called for in different situations. It really depends on the elements of whatever beat kicks back in afterwards

the way sound reacts in a certain place, so like your room would give a different reverb than a concert hall.
