  • As a Texan, I am proud to draw Hitler Mustaches on pictures of Joe Barton and send them to him.

  • Why don't you just get on your knees and blew him Barton?

  • Wot an AssHole! Please America Keep us in The Shitter, Keep Voting Republican!

  • This man is clearly confused. He should be ashamed alright but that should encompass the 27 Trillion giveaway to the International elite of bankers that are out to destroy the rest of us useless eaters. This guy should be put on a an oil contaminated levee with a rotten piece of watermelon to eat and left to rot along with the rest of his kind!

  • @sbecker3

Such kind and heartwarming words from the "most tolerant and compassionate" left. I wonder what "your kind" are going to do when the government goes bust and there isn't any money to pay for your healthcare. The problem with socialism is that, sooner or later, you run out of other people's money.

  • I must apologize to the youtube community. It was I that gave dirtbiker1984 the link to this video. he has since hijacked the discussion and attempted to insert his brainwashed propaganda into rational discourse. He has no concept that Government should have authority over business. he is a typical conservative that believes corporations should run the United States.

He cries of tyranny if the big bad government holds corporations accountable.

hearing R's squeal is music to patriots ears.

  • @Froward69

Hey Fro! I guess this is the only way I can talk to you, since you blocked me from your channel.

How's did that European vacation with Bwarney Fwank go? You 2 have a good time?

  • Wonder if he would say that after we threw him in the oil soaked waters in the Gulf. I want to torture this guy!! HARDCORE!

  • How can anyone think like this?

  • What a fu%$ing idiot

  • YOU ARE ALL FOOLED!!! Do you think Democrats are not funded by BIG OIL as well? Wake the hell up you fools! All this"Republican this, Democrat that"... they are all PAID OUT SHILLS... Its DC THEATRICS.

Lobbyist=Bribery, and every single politician has gotten paid in one way or another... sheeesh.

  • true,

except ALL the Republicans are bought and sold, only half the Dems are....lesser of two evils

  • Congressman Barton's recent apology following his tempestuous apology to BP reminds me of the situation when someone said a that another individual was stupid. An apology was required and the original person said. "I wish to apologize for saying someone was stupid, so I apologize and regret this person is stupid". Is this truly an apology or an exercise in semantics? Mr. Barton is as always interested in his own petroleum profits.

  • George W Bush and Dick Cheney helped block a 2002/03 Bill that would have required the use of acoustic switches to activate the blowout preventer (BOP). When the rig blew up, they had to MANUALLY activate the switch by sending robotic submersibles. This was all but impossible since the rig was in flames and the priority was putting it out and saving lives; this was easily foreseen.

  • You should feel ashamed. You are killing 100s of thousands of people in Iraq for oil. Now you are screaming like hell for oil. Fucking hypocrites. You get what you deserve...Go ask Haliburton to turn off your fucking oil. Shame Shame Shame

  • all Republicans think this way!

  • You suck Republicans and they all think this was ok although they won't say it like he did.

  • Any other Republicans or Tea Partiers want to apologize to BP and Big Oil here? ' ' )

  • Love the tune... fits perfectly!

  • the GOP is a NATIONAL DISGRACE.....

  • @Lighthouse724 How many lawyers does it take to change a light bulb?

Fifty four. Eight to argue, one to get a continuance, one to object, one to demur, two to research precedents, one to dictate a letter, one to stipulate, five to turn in their time cards, one to depose, one to write interrogatories, two to settle, one to order a secretary to change the bulb, and twenty-eight to bill for professional services.

  • @justonefirefly1 hahahahhahhaahahahahahahahahah

  • Was an order to make this fund given or was it a firm suggestion? BP must realize that if they didnt make a fund like this, that they would probably be shut down in the US pending safety inspections of all their facilities. A restaurant will get shut down if someone gets food poising, and here we are talking about the biggest man made ecological disaster of all time. 20 billion isn’t going to scratch the surface of the liability. BP is lucky to still be operating in the U.S.. No apology from me,

  • Shame on the Republicans for putting the interests of a FOREIGN multi-national corporation over the interests of hard working Americans along the Gulf coast.

  • @PaulHartXYZ shame yes. But if it wasnt for the oil on top, noone would have said a word.

  • @PaulHartXYZ

Shame on Zero for putting a moratorium on drilling that is keeping more Americans out of work. Maybe those jobs will follow the rigs that are pulling out of the Gulf to Brazil, West Africa and the Middle East.

  • As a Texan I apologize to the rest of America for having an aaahole like Burton living in our state.

  • This video has me all weepy.

  • ...... well, at least the music.

  • Never fails does it. Always a fucking puffy, red faced republican who seems to not have a clue or any sensitivity about how we are destroying the earth. You fat fucks should just go have a hamburger and take a nice oil bath. Fuck you!

  • Fuck Obama...Im ashamed of him representing our country....what a fool our president is....I apoligize to the world for our radical president

  • I'm a Texan & ashamed of scumball Burton.

  • When your right your right. It was a shake down, a political slush fund. We have laws, we have procedures, when will the law be allowed to operate?

  • @hydin1 So you want the people yo pay for it huh? The government is for the people by the people. So if BP does not pay you want the people to pay it by raising taxes huh? If obama reps the USA then yeah good america shock down BP an international company that killed american on that busted rig. Why did that dummy apologize to people that ruined business in america.

  • @phuture101 No BP should pay, what I was speaking of is due process. I would like to see the money actually get to the people affected, not political cronies, paid off with other peoples money. Which is exactly what happened with GM, and the unions.

  • @hydin1 BP is not paying claims since this broke out so the american goverment had to step in. Whats bad is when these companys get away with sticking all there BS on the people to pay a tax. So you trust the Bankers and BP to what is right over ur elected government? Companys only care about there bottom line. Atleast the people in unions have JOBS.

  • @phuture101 My point, the people who should get the money wont get whats fair. I dont trust power, wielded by big corporation or big government, both are equally corrupt, but at least I can choose not to buy goods and services from a company, but when government is corrupt it starts mandating from the barrel of a gun. I will take from them and give to you, I will force BP to give the money, without real legal authority to do it. First they came for the big corporations, etc.

  • @phuture101

Why do people allow the "reagan union bashing" propaganda to turn them away from unions. Yes, there has been corruption in unions. But overall unions are good. I dont hear no one asking for the shut down of capitalism because of its corruption. Why are people so ignorant?

  • watch?v=CiU0J1baC9Q

  • It's well-known that Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX), the congressman who made headlines today for apologizing to BP for the "$20 billion shakedown" of the new escrow account, has been drenched in oil and gas industry money for years.

Barton's number one career campaign contributor, Anadarko Petroleum, has 25% ownership in the well where the April 20 rig explosion occurred.

The firm, which has given Barton $146,500 over the years, has been sent a bill by BP for cleanup costs.

  • oil's bitch.

  • DOUCHEBAG...

  • Anyone that likes or is a republican is needs to be shot dead.

  • @datniggami6 without working people where are you going to get your welfare check.

  • @hydin1 I'll just fall back on pimpin ur whore ass mom for income. That's what we do...Niggaz hustle! Make money off crackas all day...Alot of white folks smoke mad crack...very profitable business indeed.

  • I"m shocked Joe Barton did ask the BP guy to pull down his pants so he could kiss his ass.

  • @DillonDee1 Didn't you see that brown spot on his nose?

  • You can't spell Republican without BP.

  • @Richardgwm Barry took their money, didn't he.

  • I think Faux news LimpNuts talking points that was released yesterday kind of back fired on them!!

  • No Constitutional authority? Are they fucking kidding me? Where the hell in the Constitution does it say "Fuck thy neighbor" and walk away scot-free? And this is a transfer of wealth alright, from the bottom up. The people of the Gulf will be paying the price long after BP is gone.

  • @HemiHead66 Apparently you did not get the memo when bush and cheney were in office: You only exist to serve the filthy reich, I mean rich. The day you decide that the taxes are for american people and not corporations and that include foreign is that day Rush Limbaugh is going rip you an new one and Becker head is going to cry foul.

  • lol, what an idiot, I say we BOYCOTT TEXAS

  • wow, they don't come any more blatantly pro-corporate, anti-environment anti-constituent than this scumbag, do they?

even his heretofore staunchest supporters are going to turn their backs on him now, right? hmmmm, what will rep barton do when his term is up? perhaps there's a post awaiting him at bp.

  • Don't miss the point. There is absolutely no precedent for the President to hand the threat of the Justice department over BP's head in order to extract political pledges of cash. By applying this pressure, the President is ignoring US Oil Pollution Statute of 1990, setting a 75 million cap. Only in the case of GROSS negligence or deliberate lawbreaking is BP required to pay more. This affair should be decided in the courts, deciding how much and to whom money is paid.

  • @52rcap you must be a lawyer looking to gain from this horrible mess? Know the difference between a dead dog on the road and a dead lawyer? Dog has skid marks before its corpse. Know what they call a bus full of lawyers going off a cliff? Good riddance.

  • Joe Barton is pretty much the biggest Oil Whore in Congress, he probably bathes in Oil when he goes home at night.

  • OMG!!! Texans ~probably~ have a down-home & witty name for that kind of performance... the rest of us call that an ass-kissing. Damn. Texicans... REAL Texicans... need to show this guy the door. It's just painful to watch. The split screen only emphasizes that the Brit can't believe what he's hearing, either.

  • Most damaging video mash-up ever. The Republicans are simply prostitutes without honor. No offence to prostitutes.

  • I'm from Texas near Smokey Joe's district and I apologize to America for Joe Barton, the rep who has received more loot from oil companies than any other.

  • @armadilloze

You have more honnor than the oily men who represent your State.

Show them where the door is in next election! Their soul has been bought to the point of treasonous behavior toward their fellow citizens.

  • Further proof of where the GOP's loyalties lay. ...and screw the American public who's lives will be devastated by BP's GREED. SOS

  • This jerk is an A** Kissing suckup and deserves to lose his next election. I am certain that if the Obama administration had not come out forceful enough he would have complained about that too.

  • As a canadian, I am scared by the GOP/Tea party fondamental flaw at recognizing their own citizens as victims and their complete ignorance or dismissal of the enviromental effects that this catastrophy already had and will continue to have on the Gulf of Mexico's wild life. Today, I've seen a troubling report talking about dolphins/sharks and other species gathering (idle) near the shores of FL. Prepare yourself for a marine wildlife meltdown.

  • @Juicexlx and it gets worse - they are reporting odorless methane pouring out. We could be come one of the biggest cherry bombs.

  • What happened to Republicans when they were children?

  • @wildzac Even seen the movie IT? Probably something like that.

  • Barton? Good God, this guy is one of many assholes in Congress! Those Republicans could care less about the 11 guys that died on that oil rig! Money, money, money! Unbelievable! How anyone with 1/2 a brain could vote for dicks like this is beyond me!

  • Did he really think he could get away with that? (he says dripping with cynicism).

  • Watched this from England and I thought how sad is that. Supporting a multinational as oppose to your fellow citizens. That was a truly WTF moment.

Honestly Is he an elected politian,,,, i mean was he voted by people to represent them or the multinationals.

  • @foreveryoung1 What with corporate media mind control and corporate vote counting machines, elections no longer matter on this side of the pond.

But face it, England isn't much better. Rupert Murdoch runs most of the world. Who voted for him?

  • I am verkelmpt. What a MORON!!! Shakedown? That's crap!

  • I think its pretty hilarious and BOLD that these republicans would actually come out AGAINST these small businesses who's whole business is within the gulf. How dare you? the $20billion dollars is going towards the businesses that are now effect GREATLY by this one with company?! SO THEY SHOULDN'T PAY THE PRICE OF THEIR ACTIONS?!

    Republican = no conscience

  • Comment removed

  • Rep Joe Barton is another example of just how MORONIC Texas Politicians are.

    Hutchison, Dumb-Shit W, Perry, etc...ALL pathetic single-digit IQ dumb-shits!

  • @mavrek47 Guess who elected them.

  • @mavrek47 thank you!!!!!

  • Barton is standing up for his constituents - oil corporations. He knows which side his bread is buttered on.

  • This is nothing but the republicans showing their true colors. They couldn't care less about the catastrophic damage done to the region, or the tremendous economic damage. As always, all they care about is keeping their corporate masters happy. I really try to remain objective in my approach to our political situation. However, the right-wing makes that VERY hard for me when they go such lengths to express their obvious disdain for our Country and millions upon millions of every day Americans.

  • @armyveteran101st Agreed. The thought of apologizing to a company that has done severe damage to coastal industry and environment through negligence is nothing short of cataclysmically stupid. Barton along with the rest of the Republicans really need to get big businesses dick out of their ears if they expect to be taken seriously.

  • @armyveteran101st I am as conservative as they come. I don't agree with Barton's statement. However, you saying this is the Republicans showing their true colors would be like me saying that Democrats regularly assault students with video cameras. So, you should try even harder to be more objective.

  • @armyveteran101st

Do you even have the slightest idea what you are talking about, or just WHO the real owners of corporations are? Retirement annuities are HEAVILY invested in BP stock, along with the pensions of millions of teachers, firemen, policemen, etc. Lord Zero's "escrew" fund is nothing more than governmental extortion.

But you will probably treat this just like government run health care. We are all slaves, and we just handed our chains to our masters. Enjoy!

  • @dirtbiker1984 Right. Let's blame the government for everything. I'm sure the extinction of the dinosaurs, the Black Plague, and Noah's Great Flood were caused by the United States Government as well. Let's all run to the hills and hide in caves, or else the Big Bad Government might find us and chop us all into little bits before eating us with ketchup and mustard. Great point, dirtbiker!

  • @armyveteran101st

The only point is the one at the top of your fat head! I live within 100 miles of the coal mine explosion. I have friends and relatives that mine coal. Notice that NOTHING has been said about this since the initial explosion. Wonder why?

Because federal mine inspectors CAUSED the whole thing. 3 days before the mishap, they FORCED the company to change their ventilation protocols for a section of mine. That section went BOOM 3 days later.

    HELL YEAH, I BLAME GOVERNMENT

  • @armyveteran101st

    I was wondering, armyvet.

How is it possible that you can belong to a group of marvelous individuals that fight and die for our rights and freedoms, and then support a president and political party that is taking away those same rights and freedoms thru legislative and executive fiat?

  • @dirtbiker1984 I'm not on AD anymore. Let me counter your question with one of mine: Can you explain your assertion COHERENTLY? How are rights and freedoms being taken away by this President? How can you ask that, after 8 years of the most quasi-dictatorial and imperialist presidency in the history of this country? Bush Jr was the one who went out of his way every day to use the U.S. Constitution as toilet paper. Obama is repairing the damage, and if you can't see that, you need help.

  • @armyveteran101st

Well, I guess we both need help, because I can't see where Bush took away any of our rights, but Obama's "health care reform" is sure one FUBAR piece. You can't convince me that 2,700+ pages were necessary to "reform" healthcare.

Why is Obama pushing for Lieberman's "kill switch" legislation for the internet?

How much is banking and Wall Street "reform" going to cost us? Bush TRIED 7 times in 8 years to reign in Fanny and Freddy. Each time, Dodd and Frank said "NYET"

  • @dirtbiker1984 Seriously? You don't think Bush's attack on Habeas Corpus and the Bill of Rights was bad? You need more help than I thought. Who the hell cares how many pages the law comprises? The result is what matters, and now 95% of Americans will enjoy health care insurance coverage for the 1st time. Financial reform is needed, regardless of how much it costs. Its absence is a big part of the reason why we are in the situation we face now. Fanny and Freddie are just a part of the problem.

  • @armyveteran101st

So why didn't O repeal them instead of renew them? Government can't, won't and doesn't do anything more efficiently than the private sector can.

If you what to know that health care will be like, look at Canada, the UK, or any other country that has government run healthcare.

Yea, we may have insurance coverage, but will we have a way to use that coverage? It will be like having 10 gallons of gas, and no car to put it in.

Enjoy health care now, while we still have it.

  • @dirtbiker1984 That's not true. I work for a Fortune 1000 corp. that is staffed by morons who can't communicate amongst themselves, and who are only interested in covering their asses, and most corporations work exactly the same way. Obama didn't "renew" the tax cuts, but channeled them to average Americans instead of letting the uber-wealthy get away with it. And you've obviously been brainwashed by the health care misinformation put out by the right-wing. Give me a break, dude.

  • @armyveteran101st

I wasn't talking about the tax cuts. I was talking about the "Homeland Security Act" that you referred to as being suspension of Habeas Corpus.

The tax cuts expire on 2011. Most if not all will report whatever income, capital gains, etc., this year, which will make it look like the economy is recovering, then BOOM!

Did you hear that 1st Quarter growth was adjusted down .5% from 3.2% to 2.7%. Hardly worth bragging about.

  • @dirtbiker1984 Well, guess who we have to thank for all that? Your buddy George "Howdy Doody" Bush, who made it his mission in life to sink this country in the mud. Way to go!

  • @armyveteran101st

Like I said, Zero had his chance to repeal it, and passed on it. Bush, as you elude, may have run this country into a hole, but Zero is down in that hole, digging as fast as he can!.

  • @dirtbiker1984 I disagree, and your numbers are not accurate. I'm not going to convince you that you're dead wrong, and you won't change my mind. The facts speak for themselves. This President has enacted more measures that are beneficial to the American people in a year and a half than Bush ever did. I know right-wing republicans like you are only interested in advancing their pro-business agenda, and to hell with the country and everything else, so maybe this conversation is useless.

  • @armyveteran101st

My numbers come from the Department of Labor, disagree with them. We'll see just who is right or wrong come this time next year, if we still have a country.

We may be owned by the Chinese by then.

  • @armyveteran101st

As far as Obama "repairing" the damage, explain to me how multi-trillion dollar spending and allowing China to hold a lot of that debt good for our country. Bush had the economy going again 6 months after 9/11, O's had 18 so far, and it ain't getting any better. If you think this is bad, wait until next year, when the Bush tax cuts expire. Jimmy Carter will look competent next to Obama.

  • @dirtbiker1984 Yeah, as if Bush Jr didn't squander the Nation's treasure on unnecessary things like the Iraq War and tax cuts for the wealthy. Going again after 6 months? What country were you living in at the time? It wasn't this one. Unemployment increased consistently during Bush's years, and prosperity never returned after his tax cuts and 9/11. Unemployment has decreased consistently during Obama's time in office, and that is a fact. Obama belong up on Mt. Rushmore compared to Bush Jr.

  • @armyveteran101st

    WHAT!

What the hell have you been smoking!

FYI, Unemployment was 4% in 2002, peaked at 6% in 2003, 4.6% in 2007, 5.8% in 2008, 9.3% in 2009 (that's Obama's) and 9.7% today (still Obama's). All figures are from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Argue with them. Unemployment HAS NOT decreased under Zero. They will not be, either, anytime soon.

Man, just when I thought you could be reasonable, you give new meaning to the oxymoron "army intelligence."

  • @dirtbiker1984 Correction. The rate at which jobs were being lost increased consistently under Bush, and has decreased consistently under Obama. Unemployment is a direct result of the economic crisis and its aftermath, not a result of who's in the White House. However, the economic crisis came about thanks in great part to Bush and his reckless, ideological economic policies. And thanks for insulting the U.S. Army and its members, moron. At least we served our Country. You're just a redneck.

  • @armyveteran101st Redneck and proud! My dad served in Korea, artillery. Nam was winding down when I was a teen, and I had to work the family farm when dad took ill in the early 80's. Had to feed ya'll! Total number of employed non-farm workers, DOL, in thousands: 2000: 107,135 2001: 107,952 2002: 107,784 (the only decrease under Bush) 2003: 108,138 2004: 109,553 2005: 111,513 2006: 113,556 2007: 115,366 2008: 115,456 2009: 112,300 2010 (first 3 months): 111,821 Sorry, just don't see it.
  • @dirtbiker1984 Opps, My bad! Wrong chart. That was for service jobs. Here's the right one: 2000: 131,785 2001: 131,826 2002: 130,341 2003: 129,999 2004: 131,435 2005: 133,703 2006: 136,086 2007: 137,598 2008: 137,790 2009: 130,920 No data for 2010
  • Why do RepubliCONS continue embarrassing & humiliating themselves time & again? These oil greedy money grabbing dumb-shits are as moronic as single-digit IQs Scarah Phalin, Dumb-Shit W & Moo Bachmann.

GOP GOAL: Continue to be IRRELEVANT in National Govt & NEVER discuss the 57 Senate & House Seats they LOST over the last 2 elections.

    GOP = GUNS OIL POVERTY

FOX News is as "FAIR & BALANCED" as OBESE Drug-Addict Flush Dimwit & BULIMIC Drag-Queen Man Coulter sitting on OPPOSITE ends of a see-saw.

  • @mavrek47 They continue to embarrass and humiliate themselves because they're too stupid to know we're watching. They have all the lower IQ idiots supporting them, believing their bullshit and cheering them on.

  • No suprise, repugs have always been in bed with big oil and big pharma.

  • Conservatives proving once again that they're their own worst enemy.

  • @sidchimaera We know whose best friends they are, and it ain't you.

  • The pro-corporate, anti-American rats are showing their true colors again.

  • @RichardE8ST they are all rats and there is dirt on every single one of them... its just on the shelf waiting to be brought out once they fall out of line!

  • Oh Boo Hoo lol. They should have invested enough in their rig and then this would have never happened.

  • Good job on manipulating what one person has said...

So you agree that a government can just go in and demand for someone to pay out X amount of dollars?

From what we have seen BP is responsible, but who is this dictator to go and demand that they pay this out?

This is why we have a judicial system!

    Screw both Republicans and Democrats.

  • @tinoDUB Oh look, another person who apparently doesn't understand what it means that the funds have been put in an escrow fund. There has been $20 bln placed in the fund but BP may not have to pay out all those funds. All this action does is ensure that BP makes good on their promise to pay for cleanup and damages. It's no different (though a vastly different scale) than putting "earnest money" in an escrow fund when purchasing property.

  • @kaysandesses BP will end up paying around $500M. Total damages will approach a trillion. Just wait and see.

  • @yt5454 In your scenario who will pay the balance? FTR, I'm not convinced $20 bln is even close to the mark either.

  • @kaysandesses I think the taxpayers will cover some of it, probably some of the fishermen, resorts, et al. The rest will get paid by nobody, i.e., those who suffered losses will be just SOL.

Damage to fisheries, wildlife, shrimp industry, coral reefs, etc. will not get cleaned up.

Hard to estimate, since we won't know the extent of the damage for a long time.

I hear there's still a mess in Prince William Sound from the Exxon Valdez 20 years ago.

  • @yt5454 The huge difference between this disaster and the Exxon Valdez disaster is two-fold: 1. we learned a lot from the Exxon Valdez disaster, and 2. BP has already coughed up $20 bln. Hopefully they will continue to do what's right.

  • @kaysandesses One of the things we learned from Exxon Valdez was that oil company promises don't mean squat, and that after several years go by, they will renege on their obligations, and get away with it.

And in the meantime, they will continue to corrupt Congress and pay little if any income tax.

  • @yt5454 Yeah, Exxon tied up the Valdez spill in the courts for like 20 years. And the original compensation of like 5 1/2 billion was chewed down to less than 1 billion. Then if you were lucky enough to be alive 20 years later, you could collect a few bucks.

  • Why do Republicans hate Americans so much? WHY?

  • Priceless. What an idiot.

  • Joe Barton FTL. What a shameless piece of shit!

And he can stick his apology for this apology up his ass. It's too late now.

  • GOBP.

If it were 1941, Rep Barton (Republican-BP) would be apologizing to the Japanese for leaving those Battleships docked at Pearl Harbor.

  • @RobertSeattle

He would of also apologized to the Japanese that we didn't have our aircraft carriers in Pearl Harbor. And apologized to the British that we started the Revolutionary War.

  • @yoda002 He would HAVE. Not would OF. If you're going to represent the left with your comments, please do it with proper grammar.

  • Nope he wouldn't....I think you're taking the remarks out of order. It's ok. The oil still leaks and the conservatives will still win in November. Enjoy the last months of your failed majority.

  • @RobertSeattle Right on the money!

  • I apologize for getting my pristine beeches and estuaries all over your precious oil.

    Can you ever forgive me?

  • Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-BP).

  • Joe Barton is a moron, dumbass lives in Texas...HELLO same GULF!

  • I feel no need to engage any further, but i'll finish with this:

    Scoreboard!

  • Palin/jhamm999 2012

  • @lacrossestar83 and we will kick ass

  • How dare the U.S. government hold corporations accountable when they cause catastrophic damage to an entire region of the country! The nerve of us.

Republicans = cluess tools of corruption.

  • The system? You mean the system Exxon used to avoid any payments for 20 years?

  • GOP = FAIL

  • Scumbag Republicans, what'd you expect?

  • CREAB

  • @jhamm999

    Your insight is duly noted.

    Also, LOOLLOLOOOLOLOLOLLOLOLOOLOLLOOLLOLOLOLOLOL!

  • @jhamm999 What makes you think I like Obama?

  • @lacrossestar83 never said you did. just asked for the law that gives him the authority. we are supposed to be a nation of laws, not men ,remember?

  • @jhamm999 "just asked for the law that gives him the authority. "

What law do you assert he is breaking by entering into this agree with BP? BP has promised to pay for the clean-up and damages, and this escrow fund with ensure that they will. Do you even know what an escrow fund is used for in general business practice?

  • @kaysandesses remember the quaint notion of separation of powers?

  • @jhamm999 Actually 900k and the rethugs took 5 million and are still on the big oil's pockeks.

  • @classicallady may surprise you to know that corporations give more to dems than repubs. also the 20 billion comes in bits and pieces, not all at once.

  • @jhamm999 We all know your troupe do not appreciate facing the truth. Bye now.

  • @classicallady truth and liberals are complete strangers.

  • @jhamm999 how about that one Texas-style thug from last decade?

  • @lacrossestar83 who would that be,and who did he extort?

  • @jhamm999 -- spoken like a true con-artist con-servative. The party about personal responsibility and corporate irresponsibility.

  • @kevinbgoode don't mistake my posts for a love of bp. it's not. just saying we have a legal system to take care of things like this. what obama did and bp wussed out on was to short circuit the system. nation of laws and not men, remember?

  • @jhamm999 Yeah, the legal system worked out real well for the victims of the Exxon-Valdez spill.

  • @angela7174 yes it did.

  • @jhamm999 -- well yes, that "legal" system is always reliable in dealing swiftly with multinational corporations. Of course, some companies choose to settle out of court, or engage in arbitration to "short circuit" the system. Besides, aren't good con-servatives against those awful "frivolous" lawsuits from the "small people" against those honorable big companies?

  • @kevinbgoode Remember: jhamm999 is a neocon shill.

  • @kaysandesses coming from you that's a compliment.

  • @kevinbgoode arbitration and settling out of court are part of the legal system, did you not know that? not many lawsuits go to trial. but if the money goes to the victims and not the lawyers, that will be a silver lining.

  • How is the GOP still a relevant party?

  • @ELowkey7 Because they own all the media. They also own half the Democrats.

  • so Barton cares more about his $1.5 millions he got from big oil instead of the death of 11 hard working Americans?

  • @timafi Unquestionably, yes.

  • @timafi -- hmm...since BP isn't an American company, I wonder if Barton isn't a foreign agent! Have we seen his birth certificate? Oh my - just think of the fun people could have applying GOP talking points about the Democrats to one of their own . . .
