  • @tiatdivad Our Hurom juicer is a workhorse. It makes juice for us 5-7 days a week. About the only problem we're having is we've lost both of the little rubber stoppers and haven't replaced them yet. So, it's still going strong after nearly 450 days, and probably 420 juices.

  • mmmm yummy combo! I have the champion juicer but I am not satisfied with it. Too heavy and gets clogged almost immediately! :( It'll do for now but I plan on purchasing a new one. Hurom is one of my top list juicers so far. Hope Andrea is doing well.

  • At the risk of sounding like I have an endorsement or advertising deal with Hurom (I do NOT), their juicer is amazing. The juice is full (not runny) and the pulp is dry. Andrea uses the pulp in baked goods and pasta, too. So, there is very little waste. It's definitely one of the more expensive juicers and worth every penny.

  • I hope Andrea is doing well. I guess it's 3 months now since her diagnosis. I'll do a youtube search on your name to see if you've posted an update on how she's doing.

One question on the Hurom, it looked like the carrot remains were still big chunks with lots of moisture in them. Hard to tell from the video. Can you comment? Thanks! Joe

  • @joecgoodman Sorry it's taken me... er... 10 months to get back to you. The juice is thick and there is very little if any waste and almost no moisture left in the veggies or fruit. We picked the Hurom over the Breville because the Hurom really is much more efficient - it really squeezes everything out of the produce. Though Andrea's stopped using it because we all grew a bit tired of it, she did for a while bake the pulp into pies, crisps and muffins.

  • @joecgoodman Just realized what you mean about chunks. Those chunks are actually clumps of pulp, much of which is actually quite stringy because it gets pushed through a grate.
