  • this song i will never forget as i was engaged to a lad an he died on his motor bike in 68 an thats why this song means so much miss you alan xxxx

  • i was reading all the comments about how these people wanted to be teenagers in the 50's/60's. And then i thought to myself would i like to born then.....NO! Besides not having decent wages, internet, and 24 hr convenience stores, I'm BLACK!!!

  • my 18month old loves this song. He always dances to it and does the motorbike :)

  • omg honestly it just sounds like their stealing a beatles melody or just copying their style. without beatles this song would not exist

  • love this song always will <3

  • @TheInflikted1 i would love to hear this hit song with 50 F bombs you speak of

  • @floydtibbs See any gangster rap song. They sell a lot and drop a lot of them. That being said, selling a million records does not necessarily mean quality, as say, any of Lil Waynes "music" demonstrates.

  • my sister loves this song that is why i am listing to this

  • OK Thunder Road. And this song. Not sure how to put this...Love of the old pure rock lives on.

  • my boyfriend had a motor bike and was considered to be a bad ass, used to love this song.. played it often when we dated...lol..... my dad did not approve of him either,, but he is still alive... turned into a cowboy living on Metis Settlement... married happy with kids, but some memories never go away..

  • @vifromalberta lovely record bless u bth x

  • Comment removed

  • @vifromalberta your boyfriend was gay did,nt you think it was strange he was only interested in your ass

  • Why would you meet a biker at a candy store?

  • @RedWolf3487 I know. the sixties were weird.

  • @RedWolf3487 he was a secret rent boy into leather and he was meeting his punter their but his punter said he can,t make it and he was angry cos he had just bought the poppers and ky jelly and stormed off and bumped into her and she also liked anal sex so they got on.

  • this is my parents life

  • my boyfreind is leader of the pack and its not so glamores

  • @devil8439 you know what IS glamorous? spelling

  • @devil8439 Let me guess: He's a jerk, right?

  • What does it take for one to become a leader of this pack thing this female seems so interested in that she sings of it and where can one sign up for this leader position? Does one need to have proper leadership credential's?

  • @RAYZE1ER why yes, yes you do.....

  • nice.

  • I always wanted to be a leader of a pack, he played this song and did his own litlle demo about being a bad boy for a girl, now 28yrs old, I'm not who I wanted to be. Great song.

  • old music reminds of my parents when they were young.....

  • I too, tell for the leader of the pack. But there is nothing in the world better than riding on that back of that ol shovelhead.

  • This goes out to my parents! My dad rode Harley Davidson motorcycles from the time he was 16 up until he passed away in 2009. My parents got married in 1984 against my grandmother's wishes and they were married until my dad passed away.

  • I get way too many goosebumps listening to this.

  • I remember being a kid and turning this song on, then running around the house acting like we were driving motorcycles, lol.

  • love this Top of the Pops!

  • I remember being young maybe 10 or so and all the cool older guys had motor cycles and I always envisioned myself being the "leader of the pack". It didn't work out that way but I still hold this song as one of my favorites of all time. You didn't need to drop the F bomb 50 times for a song to be a hit back then, you had to have talent.

  • @TheInflikted1 So it didn't work out for you, huh? What happened? Not enough charisma? not a big enough jerk? Don't have the smooth looks?

  • this isnt gangster you phuc knuckles, just good music

  • Cholas !

  • my sis used to sing this with sarcastic faces.. and she was taken by a wreck..shit.. she is partying now, I know.. and she is keepin some fine fella that is a dream

  • I remember my father playing this back in the 70's when I was a kid. I know it is older than that. I was raised on music like this. Still love Elvis to this day.

  • @FishCustard100 he produced some great music, but he had nothing to do with this one, or the shangri-las

not trying to be a dick, and trust me i understand why you'd think he was involved...just letting you know he wasn't

  • havent heard this rola in a good many years..

  • GoodFellas!

  • my mom was all into this music, so I grew up with it, and this is my mothers side, make a great cd for a 18 hour car trip, this was one of her favs

  • always think of my idol here james dean :)

  • this reminds me of so much :'/

  • I will always love this song

  • played this for my wife who,s boyfreinds were all bikers except me lol

  • god, I love sixties pop.

  • amy and blake

  • @cherryboomboom146 So weird you said that i was thinking the exact same thing :O Amy winehouse turned me to the oldies can't stop listening now :)

  • My dad always played this song, I mean, ALWAYS when I was a kid until now and I just today found out it's by the Shangri-Las. LOVE this song, thanks for the upload!

  • @AmaterasuHusky was your dad a biker by chance?

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 Haha! No, no, he just loved the oldies. ;)

  • @AmaterasuHusky When I was young I was frowned on, I rode a Ariel Red Hunter, a big machine for its day. We were peaceful youngsters, doing no harm.

  • this song brings back so many memories of my grandpa! No one knos how much i miss him... I could listen to this over & over. It never gets old.. Honestly.. i was born in the wrong greneration. Real Talk! :p

  • This is a Wall of Sound record, isn't it?

  • this is the dad's happy ending to 'he's a rebel '. find a decent guy, sweetie.

  • LOL first i thought it was a sample, then i realized this is actually the real song

  • i love it!!!!

  • Some day you'll own a Yahama...!

  • such a great tune with that story tellin lyrics

  • dam this reminds me of my elementary days. we used to sing this in choir. good ol dayz

  • Shangri La is some sort of mythical city. Or something.

  • @NGC104 Book called Lost Horizon written by..James Hilton - it's a good book - I think that's where the idea of Shangri La first came to at least the West. There was a movie made in the 30's, early 40's with Ronald Coleman which was great! then.. someone made it into a musical - which was terrible. It's a great book. that and .. books like.. Siddartha.. written by Hermann Hesse same - I read them when I was young - opened my eyes to .. possibilities :-)

  • can u make this available on mobile

  • DUDE. They're the SHANGRI - LAS. Not the "SHANGRILLAS". What the hell.

    Anyway, sorry. Awesome song.

  • Why has the chick on the bike got a Magnum PI moustache?? cause she kissed the leader of the pack...

  • @chupas2526 Thats funny bro! made me laugh!

  • Wow, antsman, what a dick. Oh, wait, are you a guy? In that case, then what a pussy. Whatever gender you think you are you are the opposite. You are also the opposite sexuality of whatever you think you are. You are whatever race you don't think you are, and you are of whatever political disposition you disagree with. Furthermore, you are a fucktard.
