It seems just obvious to have a "plan" but only 3 weeks? Heck I've been through Hurricane Andrew, it was 2 months before some things got back to "normal". It was a month of no electricity at least. And we ate better than we ever did because we were cooking huge pots of soup on an open fire. We got all the food no one wanted it seem, the yams and the carrots potatoes and beans.. and I made bread in frying pan. I'm used to living "rough" so it was like a paradise because people stuck together.

I think the reliability of the neighbours was due to the fact that we stayed out of each other's lives but at the same time, said hello every once in a while.
