What I love most about Mme. Tautou is that she's an extraordinary actress, but not at all a diva or a prima donna. She's very low key about what she does, very modest, humble and down to earth. It's not her fame that is most admirable, but how she handles her fame. She's a true class act.

I absolutely agree. Tatou has an almost magical innocence (perhaps I'm sounding trite here) that can make for some very interesting work on screen, but she has yet to display the kind of range and depth that was/is commonplace with Huppert and/or Moreau.

All this idolatry for Audrey and hate for the Rose. People, Charlie Rose is one of the best interviewers around, and he gets the best guests of anyone, period. Considering the awesomeness of all the guests he gets, Tatou's small potatoes. Writers, thinkers, CEOs, other actors, atheletes, et al.

Tautou is gorgeous... and I love her voice in english. What I don't like is that Charlie tried to rush her along and finish her sentences for her. Impatience with a non native speaker is frustrating to witness. Interesting interview nonetheless... I'll be searching for the full video.

i agree. and the asking of so many questions at one time. i really admire people who have the courage to conduct interviews without translators or anything. learning another language is so hard and i could not pull it off as gracefully as audrey does. she does a great job and i love her accent, too!
